phantagrae
I think it's his reaction to her making him leave everything unfinished, judging by his then going ahead and "finishing" the dominos and getting such satisfaction out of it. Much like when Sheldon couldn't figure out Howard's magic trick and he said, "I hate you". Edited March 20, 2013 by phantagrae

Scullycat
Sorry - I believe he said that because he's peeved at Amy for proving her hypothesis. Of course he was being funny, not serious.

bigbangsheldon
Cathi said Questions have been raised about Sheldon saying to himself, after Amy leaves, "And I wish you were dead." I tried to post my reply but still can't. Please tell them it seems to me that he said that because he's so annoyed that she proved her hypothesis about his compulsive need for closure. stardustmelody
Thank you, Cathi and Chloe for getting the report written and posted. I am not crazy with the nasty last line of his, no matter why the reason he said it. I am not a fan of it one bit. The writers have him being awfully mean and rude to Amy lately and that is the icing on the cake. She deserves better. Were there any tidbits on the behind the scenes stuff? Kiru Breezy
I get what he's saying....she's proved her hypothesis and he didn't prove his...so its basically he's conceded defeat. I'm sure it'll be hilarious. I trust in Tara.
Chiara
Bravo to Cathie. Excellent job ! Absolutely remarkable, especially for a first time. And thank you so very much bigbangsheldon for not giving up and managing to get us this report. I think it's his reaction to her making him leave everything unfinished, judging by his then going ahead and "finishing" the dominos and getting such satisfaction out of it. Much like when Sheldon couldn't figure out Howard's magic trick and he said, "I hate you". It is my take on it too. Sheldon is a child at heart and, like all children, he does not cope well with the word "no". So after having been denied repeatedly by Amy (and proven wrong by her to boot), he took his little revenge and lashed out in his own petty way. I really do not think anyone should more into it than a kid kicking back. It is thoroughly immature and a bit frutrating considering he has made progress over the years but... What can you do ? He will never be a sensitive, polite and caring soul in the conventional sense. To a certain extent, this is why I'd rather see Penny "playing with the Sheldon" than Amy attempting to do the same for he always takes his revenge, either in words or actions, in a callous, indelicate way. Penny has a thick skin, especially when it comes to her neighbour. She flings his poo right back at him when he is rude to her and nobody's feelings get hurt. Conversely, when Amy is the one putting herself in Sheldon's crosshair, I always feel a tiny bit uncomfortable because she loves him, is very sensitive and might take his reactions to heart. And the dominoes... I cannot wait to see this. Mr. Parsons has rare form of genius that allows him to do even the weirdest things with utter and complete dignity. So, Sheldon having an "orgasm" is going to be one hell of a treat to watch. Raj and Lucy... Could be very cute; could be very repetitive (after the "proms are like dreams come true" thing during their texting date). I'm waiting to see. Penny and Leonard : Very beautiful and slightly confusing. Beautiful because he is so eager to share his passions with her and she makes a genuine effort to play an active part in the process. Beautiful also because they can talk about rather serious topics together. Beautiful finally because we have confirmation of how far they have come as a couple, with Penny openly declaring her love to Leonard without second thoughts. Confusing because I am not sure what the writers are trying to do with Penny, in re passions and her career. In one episode, they show us how good she is at acting. Now they tell us that she does not feel passionate about anything (including her chosen profession, I would assume), except for her lover and friends. It could be just a glitch, a tiny error on the writers' part, due to their eagerness to have Penny declare her passion for Leonard in no uncertain terms. But it could also be a sign that they want Penny to discover something new she is passionate about in the near-ish future and drop her theatrical pursuits in favour of this new passion. In and by itself, it does not concern me at all. Anything she can enjoy completely and take personal pride in is fine by me. However, it makes the whole Streetcar episode a bit of a wasted opportunity. Yep, I am confused ! Edited March 20, 2013 by Chiara

He didn't say it to her face. The way I understand it, he closed the door mid-sentence so that she would get a taste of her own medicine--not hearing the end of the sentence. And it was apparently all positive things he was saying to her, wasn't it? The last line was to himself after he closed the door. And then he had a domino-orgasm. Or a "dominorgasm". BazingaFan
Thank you so much for the report!! This one sounds very interesting, and looking forward to Penny's line about loving her friends. I have a feeling the lines from sheldon lately toward amy are leading to something else in later episodes... I'm not discouraged. Looking forward to seeing amy's efforts with sheldon! I so can't wait to see jim parsons comedic genius over the dominos... God, can't wait. Edited March 20, 2013 by BazingaFan

To me it's even worse that he didn't say it to her face. It's like he was lying to her face as she was leaving about being a great girlfriend and they got him to close the door and say what he really thinks when she couldn't hear him. Terrible. SRAM
Scene: Penny and Leonard are having dinner in Penny's apartment. Penny tells Leonard about her search for passion. She talks about how she's sure she'll still be a star one day because a psychic at a bachelorette party told her so. "But then I realized: I'm passionate about you. I love you, and Sheldon, and all my new friends. I have a great life." (The audience kept going "awwww" over this line until Johnny turned his head and said, "Ah cut it out..." The audience was told NOT to AWWWW on the next take!) Incidentally, this scene had the most retakes. On the second one, Kaley actually got choked up as she read the line and they had to stop the take. "Why am I crying?" we can hear Kaley ask rhetorically. "It's not even the finale!" OK is it me, or does this read that Johnny was trying to help, and provide support to Kaley, so she could get through a scene she was having trouble with, sort of like you would expect Leonard to help Penny. Disgusted
Confusing because I am not sure what the writers are trying to do with Penny, in re passions and her career. I'm surprised you aren't getting it, you are usually pretty astute in your posts. Until now, Penny has lacked two things, self-confidence and a "center", if you will. All season they have been working toward Penny having a "Dorothy" moment. ( "if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard") That kind of realization can be very powerful. It can only help her self-confidence. Self-confidence leads to success. Penny finally has a castle from which to sally forth and slay dragons. As for the Shamies, Chuck Lorre has said that he is "fascinated" by the Sheldon/Amy dynamic. That can only be good for you. Edited March 20, 2013 by Disgusted

According to the taping report, she does talk about knowing she will become a star. And Disgusted makes a good point about her now having a solid foundation to leave from and safe haven to return to both literally and figuratively.
