I have to say, I was a total Sheldon this year, I'm so so so happy Xmas is over. I actually really like the Xmas atmosphere and all that goes with it until Dec 25th and absolutely hate Xmas day. It's weird, I know, but I'm glad it's done for another 365 days.

Spook, I almost said the same thing today but then I corrected myself, because you know how xmas starts earlier and earlier.  Xmas season is over now until maybe August.  :)

Christmas at my folks' house was weird--and as usual, everyone was getting sick. My older sister sent her son since she couldn't come, and he was sick when he came. Then others started falling like dominos.

I was feeling fine until today. I feel like I'm getting a sore throat...

I'm flying down to PHX where I'll be staying with my younger sister and her family where they're mostly sick...

Every single year...

There would be no harm in us knowing the episode title, but they always cover it with small objects to tease and annoy the fans!! Like "See? It's there. If only you could move that pencil...but you can't!! We are the only who can!! Ah-Ah"

Guest I'm not dead Cheryl

John Ross Bowie tweeted that he was on TBBT working this week, so we should be expecting Kripke for 06x14

It's just fun--oftentimes the object Bill uses to cover the title has something to do with the episode, though not necessarily.

That combined with other clues that may come along make it kind of a game.

CBS releases the title ahead of time, but TPTB aren't obligated to tell anyone anything ahead of time, so it doesn't bother me at all.

OR Sheldon really hurts Amy's feelings (again) and she needs some space from him and Kripke dates her. This could be the emotional event that makes Sheldon Cooper change the way he acts to her. They could drag their break up out several episodes and she could still tell the girls everything. When her and Sheldon finally get back together things could then be different between them because right now I don't see Sheldon getting any better in the future.

I wouldn't want to see that.  They've done the "Sheldon screws up" scenario three times already--Shiny Trinket, Vacation Solution, and Habitation Configuration (though in HC Amy was at fault in the Wheaton kerfuffle).  What do you mean by him "getting any better"?  There's not really a problem, plus he has been willing to move forward in their relationship at times without being threatened with losing her.  I'd rather see a plot in which S/A unite against Kripke.

I love when Kripke is on.  Although his character is annoying, he brings out the funniest in Sheldon.  The trash talk is especially hysterical.

Wait, what?? Where is this coming from now? Sheldon's not getting any better?? All he's done this season is mature with regards to their relationship! Amy and Kripke?? wow, that is a stretch from one little piece of information we have about who's in that episode. It would be SO funny to see Shamy vs Kripke but I think it'll likely be just another Sheldon-centric ep.

eta: Thank you Shamynatress :)

I really am not looking forward to 6.13.  Just the last line, I don't know I think it is a sad change in direction for the show, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it's like Sheldon is saying, we are grown men, I've grown up, I'm beyond all this now.  I suppose I will wait and see how it actually comes out when the show it played, but that's how I'm reading it.

I think the point of the episode is actually to do with the last scene, when they find the girls reading comic books. They were discouraged by their trip fiasco and get home to find their girls getting into the same stuff they were getting discouraged by, so, if anything, it's the opposite message I'm taking away from it. That they now have someone to share that with, since the girls, who are meant to be the "grown up" ones, since they were never into comic books, are getting into it. And that after having spent two days being made fun of, they get home to someone who now understands. There is no way the guys are going to un-nerd, it's not the point of the show.

Yeah I agree. It sounds like they get down in the dumps, like Leonard got with Penny over the Time Machine, but in the end the girls lift them up again, like Penny did with Leonard. Really it sounds like a real positive episode because the girls are understanding more about their men. Now we need a big paintball episode.
