Season 6 spoilers

Yeah I agree. It sounds like they get down in the dumps, like Leonard got with Penny over the Time Machine, but in the end the girls lift them up again, like Penny did with Leonard. Really it sounds like a real positive episode because the girls are understanding more about their men. Now we need a big paintball episode.

I so need a paintball episode!!

Guess, we'll have to wait and see tomorrow. Me and two others will be there :-). I look forward to seeing how 6.13 turned out too if they show it.

Convict, I agree with Spook. You have nothing to worry about there. They just get a bit discouraged because of bad luck and people making fun of them but then at the end, they're all better again.

I admit; Kripke is tewiffic!  Oh I haven't gotten over when they played basketball for Prof. Rothman's office, that episode was hysterical. Judging by the way they're sticking to the season 1-3 formula, I'd say that's it'll be classic Sheldon vs. Kripke. Yay.

What Spook says is how I'd like to see it happen, too, and its the impression I got from the taping report. It's important to note that Sheldon and the other guys are sad and dispirited when they feel they need to give up on their nerdy excursion and go back; they're not happy about doing that, they're just discouraged by the events of the day. And what cheers them up is going back and finding that the girls have somehow unexpectedly begun to share their comic-book interests. It seems like a nice way of showing that their relationships can at times enable and support their geekiness, and not necessarily take away from it.

Let's see how it plays out. This is the perspective which makes me look forward to seeing it.

Wait, what?? Where is this coming from now? Sheldon's not getting any better?? All he's done this season is mature with regards to their relationship!

Also, agree very much with this. Sheldon's the one who's been doing all the evolving and maturing, and most of the compromising, in this season (and sometimes drawn flak for it).

Annieogly, I love your avatar.  Danica McKellar is a hero of mine.  (I also have a master's degree in math.)  She has done a lot of work encouraging girls to pursue math and science careers.

Speaking of that episode, season 3 ep. 12, (the one with Danica McKellar) I thought that she (Abby) and Martha (Jen Dorhan) would have been interesting choices for Sheldon and Raj. Martha knew about comic books, and could discuss 'Flatland' with Sheldon. Both ladies were playing 'Rock Band' with Sheldon and Raj when Leonard returned from his date (not to mention thy were both interested in some physical contact). All in all if they would have decided to introduce 'girlfriends' for Sheldon and Raj they would have made interesting choices.

Both of you thank you! Finally some posters appreciate my  avatar which makes me uber happy :icon_razz:  As I admire Danica McKellar so much and that's very cool of you tmp to have an MA in math. I wish I'd done my undergrad work in that field, as I was encouraged.  I'm definitely the Martha type, humanities-loving geeky glasses-wearing femalel.

EirwinRommel (great soldier) Yes, I agree these two made good matches for both fellows and pairing Sheldon with someone not in the sciences would make for some fun and I'd love to see a real mathematician on the show....these girls were shown to have nerdy interests which would have made them good additions, I'd have preferred that to what we have now.

Glad to I'm not the only one to see this as a missed opportunity. Especially since Amy appeared just 11 ep's later.
