Puppy Chow
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa. I'm happy for Amy that there seems to be a glimmer of hope that she might get some from Sheldon in the future. Oh, who are we kidding? Sheldon's "It's a possibility" response to Penny's question is akin to the writers saying "Audience, you've been warned. We're going there!" And the way they've decided to go about it is pretty clever in my opinion. Kudos indeed. Thanks for the tidbits, Monique!
rubyanjel
Btw... Penny, the mother of all Shamy shippers. They might as well just come out and say they write her reactions with us in mind. To be honest she is the perfect depiction of every shamy shipper after that episode or right after Sheldon says his line. Crap. You guys I've had a breakdown reading a report. Thank god for McDonalds. I needed freak-out meals.
MJistheBOMB
I believe Kyzzx has another long day ahead of her today so if it turns out she isn't able to write something up, I will do my best to remember everything I can later on when I get off work. rubyanjel
Also, sometimes I wonder if the writers do ask their staff to evaluate the audience perception of their episode and see their reactions for their writing. For the past few episodes, there reviews commenting on how it's going stale and that Sheldon's becoming OOC. Well, I think the way this episode was written was FANTASTIC that actually seeing the episode would probably get all of our minds blown, as if it answered some of the questions we had regarding the previous ones like TFGD (6.10). BTW, I instantly remembered episode 6.02 where Leonard said that Sheldon's relationship with Amy has turned him into a red-blooded man with sexual desires. He did not deny it and he looked as if Leonard hit a nerve there. I dunno, it felt connected. Chloe, I almost smashed a keyboard into two after reading about the model rocket. I can just imagine... Guest I'm not dead Cheryl
Thank you so much for all the info Monique!!! ((hug))) I freakin' LOVE YA! I read this while on the subway and people started looking at me weird because I squealed and then grinned like an idiot the whole ride. THIS IS WHAT THE SHAMY DOES TO ME. and I love it. Off to the Shamy thread!
carl1970
Thanks for the info Monique. It sounds like we have a lot of happy Shamys out there. I'm glad L/P are in a couple of scenes together. The L/P/S scenes sound golden as well.
tmp
Btw... Penny, the mother of all Shamy shippers. I think you're absolutely right. Penny has coached him throughout his relationship with Amy--driving him to their first date, advising him to confess his feelings to Amy, helping him when they argue. In the tiara scene, I have always loved that look on Penny's face when Sheldon apologizes to Amy. She's so proud of him. I think Sheldon and Penny have a very special friendship--not a romance, but a sweet friendship.

I think Sheldon and Penny have a very special friendship--not a romance, but a sweet friendship. I just find the whole S/A/P thing so endearing. One of my favorite parts of the show is when Penny is heartbroken over Leonard and Priya and Amy is so eager to comfort her and there's that last scene with Penny in Sheldon's flat with Amy on Skype that just makes me melt for all the friendship going on there. Penny has been so into the Shamy since day one, Amy is her bestie and looks up to her and she knows Sheldon better than most so it's like she's a fairy godmother in this whole thing. I do think Penny has a special place in her heart for these two.
Puppy Chow
You got it all wrong about Penny's reaction. She's obviously excited about the possibility that Sheldon might have sex with her in the future. You know, after he's done all his "training" with Amy. koops
LOL! the writers have been hammering nails in that coffin with every passing episode, but I know that they will break up during sweeps. Oh wait... this is sweeps.

Oh wait... this is sweeps. Hey, 6.14 is just the beginning of sweeps. It can still happen. Sheldon will break up with Amy because she's distracting him from his all-important work. Penny is going to break up with Leonard after she symbolically pushed him away by quietly freaking out in excitement over Sheldon's "It's a possibility" response. This episode is just laying the ground for everything. You heard it here first. There. I've done Doug's "TV writing analysis" for him.
koops
What Sheldon might not realize is that his work isn't the only one suffering because of his sex life. Mine is too. I've accomplished nothing today and it's past 3pm already.

Sheldon and Amy breaking up for your reasoning is a great possibility. I don't think Penny will break up with Leonard because they've gone down that road too many times. It would certainly though put Penny in an awkward situation dealing with Sheldon and Amy.

I know that it has a very good chance of happening. But unlike some people out there, I also know that if it happens, it wouldn't be permanent and it won't lead S & P anywhere near each other arms. stardustmelody
Thank you, Monique for clarifying what is going on with Kyzzx. I was starting to worry that something might have happened (like and accident or something) since we have not heard from her. She is pretty good at reporting in. I can rest a bit easier now. So another person (Susan) at the other forum attended and said they did three takes on the ending. Can you elaborate and let us know what they changed in all three takes? I hope there is no chance they won't show him saying the cliffhanger answer.
