Geniocrat
My roomate rearranged his room the other day and he was like.... yeah I got my bed positioned so that I can feel the heat coming from the other room from the fire place but still close enought to the window so I can get the cool air. So I go to him jokingly.... So I guess you've found your "SPOT" !!!!! We both burst out laughing...
Becca Cooper-Hofstadter
I was the same with my stepbrother Shaun. it kinda went like this: Shaun: "I really Like Rhianne shes a good friend, she even told her mum about me!" Me: "OMG!" Shaun: "What?" Me: "Y'know how you say she's a girl whose you're friend and nothing else." Shaun: Yeah? Me: "Can't say that anymore... Ha! You're screwed!" He has trouble with relationships bless him! girls say hes kinda Immature, but cute.

SheldonCooperFan
Do you ever find yourself applying quotes and funny stuff from BBT to your actual life? I was out of town staying in a hotel last week and I very nearly slipped in the shower/tub on morning. The first thing that popped into my mind was, "Where are the whimsical ducks when you need them?" Anybody else? No I have not caught my self quoting anything from big bang thoery. I have done this from other shows though like adventure time but just because that shows sensors words with goofy phrases so when I am dealing with children its helps. Theoneandonly
My husband made me sit down and watch The Empire Strikes Back the other day, but I haven't seen any other Star Wars movies. I tried to tell him that I couldn't possibly watch it without having seen A New Hope (like Sheldon with NCIS), but he didn't get it :-( So I annoyed the crap out of him asking as many questions as I could :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LalaLogan
I find myself applying quotes and situations from pretty much any show or movie. I swear 80% of what I say is just regurgitated quotes from celebrity interviews or movies or tv shows... :/

In fact, I quote so much from the show and reference it that my family thinks I'm obsessed! LOL I guess I am pretty much, but I don't care. ESB makes a lot more sense if they are watched in sequence.
luke
I'm not a comic book person, but I love collecting DVDs and I always think of TBBT when I go into a DVD store to look for a movie to add to my collection and invariably start saying 'Got it, got it, got it, need it, need it, want it, got it." as I look through the selection. FreesiaMoonbeam
Some of my classmates get annoyed when I talk: big words, conscending expression, and an 'oh please' expression. I'm not much of a science girl compared to the geniuses, but I find myself researching every term I hear from TBBT just so I can use it in the real world

ANH->TESB->ROTJ is the only way to watch Star Wars. Actually, ANH->TESB->ROTJ->ANH->TESB->ANH->TESB->ANH->TESB->ROTJ is probably what is going to happen if you have DVDs and a heart. And try to watch ANH in an original cut. George Lucas added some sillyness to ROTJ, but ANH he altered fundamentally for the worse...
menotseen28
We constantly quote the show throughout life. When we watch Wheel or Jeopardy, if they speak of flags, we do Sheldon's little hand gesture when he says "Fun with Flags". We are naming our MMORPG characters after the show. I have Tondelayah Della'Ventamiglia and he has Ricardo ShillyShally. I think he also has one named Einstein VonBrainStorm as well. We are heavy TBBT fans watching the show almost everyday old episodes, reliving the newer ones whatever we choose to cheer us up during a down moment. TBBT was our ringtone for the longest time, stupid cheap phone we have to use now won't play it for some reason.....We are constantly quoting the show, I think one of our favorite things is when we walk across the floor my husband will go Boing Boing....The supper between Sheldon and Amy when he is listening to Super Mario Music. Yeah we are geeks,nerds....There I said it...I feel better
Anita Rez
I bought my son a cool Superman/Batman t-shirt and an awesome Captain America t-shirt yesterday. He told me this morning he wanted to wear one of them because that's what Jim Parsons wears. Then he asked if I wanted to watch TBBT and when I said no he yelled at the tv because it was showing local news instead of Good Morning America (Jim's on it this morning).
