The Lion Sleeps Tonight,

Years ago we had to put our dog to sleep. When we got back in the car this song just started plying.

The Scientist-Coldplay.

A guitar and piano tune (la Grande Cascade-René Aubry)

And I agree with walnutcowboy: silent night

If you get a chance look up 911 silent night. No matter what you believe it's a real tear jerker1

There are a few...

"If Tomorrow Never Comes" - Lyfe Jennings

"The Scientist" - Coldplay

"Runaway Love" - Ludacris ft. Mary J. Blige

"I'm Permanent" - David Cook

"Careless Love" - Professor Longhair

"Live Forever" - Drew Helcomb & The Neighbor's

"Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning?" - Alan Jackson (It was written in memory of 9.11)

There might be more, but I can't think :icon_question: .

Most country songs and I do not even like country that much; it is mainly Shania Twain that does it to me.

Yeah, I love her. The one that really get's me by her is "Black Eyes, Blue Tears"

Justin Bieber - Baby

It's just... so... awful...

:icon_arrowu: This is awesome! I'm glad I am not the only one who dislikes that little girl.

There is 1 song I cannot listen too without really crying..even now posting it..

This one is very personal as it came out around the time my youngest brother was in a coma from a brain hemorrhage & eventually died from that on Dec 19th 2005.

The lyrics were & still are too close for comfort & in the days after he passed away, this was played on the radio a lot...I still miss him to this day....I bought the cd just for this song..as it's kind of his song in my mind

Anouk - One Word

I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston

Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris

Unchanged Melody by The Righteous Brothers

Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley

Teddy Bear by Red Sovine and Teddy Bear's Last Ride by Diana Williams - about a dying boy who talks to the truckers via a CB radio, expressing his wish to ride with them. Talk of his funeral with the vehicles in a circle just kills me, and I'm in tears now...

 @ MISS KITKA,

Somewhere in my place I have records of all the old CB songs.

Red Sovine's Teddy Bear songs were/are great.

There are other Teddy Bear songs too (sorry I don't remember the names at present).

Alone Again Naturally  by Gilbert O'Sullivan  I always loved the song to begin with and when my dad passed away my mom was 65 years old. He was the only man ever in her life, so this one part of the song always gets me as it was exactly true to my real life.

"Looking back over the years
And whatever else that appears
I remember I cried when my father died
Never wishing to hide the tears

And at sixty-five years old
My mother, God rest her soul
Couldn't understand why the only man
She had ever loved had been taken
Leaving her to start
With a heart so badly broken
Despite encouragement from me

No words were ever spoken,

And when she passed away
I cried and cried all day
Alone again, naturally
Alone again, naturally"
