1. Sheldon - I love all the characters even the annoying ones, but for me this is "The Sheldon Show" He just rocks my world!

2. Amy - Amy has really impressed me I see why Mayim got an Emmy nom she has become second funniest character on the show and actually can hold her own with Shellybean. SHAMY RULES!!

3. Howard is tied with Leonard for third right now

4. Rajesh - he really needs more going on so he can move up to being tied with Howard and Leonard.

5. Bernadette- she just moved up one over Penny who is annoying me right now.

6. Penny- She use to be tied up there with Leonard and Howard, but lately she keeps on moving down the list. The writers need to fix her character before she becomes totally unlikeable and annoying, especially towards Leonard. I trust they will soon and then she may move back up the list.

7. Stuart -he might pass Penny too soon if she doesn't get her acting togetherthat he's hanging out with Raj more and getting more story.

8. Sheldon's mom Mary Cooper - I love her character want to see more of her this season.

9. Penny's dad - I liked him a lot even though he was only in one episode so far he left an impression and I want to see him again on show, maybe he can explain better why his daughter is so lame and perhaps fix the locust of her identity so she can be less pathetic.

10. Mrs. Wolowitz - i don't need to see her physically, but I do find her funny sometimes, though at times she's annoying too. Just depends on the episode.

11. Leonard's mom - She's mean, and crazy like Sheldon, but not at all endearing or sweetly childish like he is so she's my third favorite mom on the show. Still I'd like to see more of her cause i think her character is really interesting and funny.

12. Raj's parents - both are overbearing and very funny andI like to see them come to America for an episode and get into with Mrs. Wolowitz or Sheldon lol

13. Kripke, he's annoying and mean, but he's funny and his voice cracks me up. Plus i love it when he and Sheldon go toe to toe or bond or just whatever they do together its interesting so yeah lets bring back Kripke. Also Leslie Winkle loved to hate her too.

14. Will Wheaton - I loves to hate him at first, but then they made him Sheldon's friend which was also sweet, but now I want him to come back and be a douche again cause he's funnier as a douche than as Mr. nice guy, but at same time I'd like to see him be sort of frenemies with Sheldon too.

15. Zack- he was the adorably dumb guy you just love to laugh at, but at same time he was kind of sw.eet. I almost wish they made Zack take a class at the university so he could hang out in cafeteria with the guys.

16. Bernadette's dad - he was funny too and I like how he gives Howard a hard time.

17. Dale - BRING HIM BACK! He only was in one scene and yet he left an impression and came off adorable and funny. I want to see him again in the comic book store.

18. All the nice funny girlfriend characters they guys have dated over the years from Abby, to Stephanie, to Martha, to Whore of Omaha, Elizabeth Plimpton, Mrs. LAtham etc.. they all brought something funny to show and I rewatch the episodes they were in a lot.

19. All the other nerd guy characters like Lonely Larry, Captain sweatpants, Todd Zarnecki etc... we don't see them much and they dont' say much, but they add their own charm to the show.

20. All the other even smaller supporting roles on one time guests that had funny lines and made me laugh at some point in their brief time on the show, but i can't remember their names.

and finally my least favorite BBT character is still Priya, that very pretty, but totally unfunny ,cheating skank who used Leonard, almost ruined his friendship with Sheldon and treated Rajesh her very own brother like crap by having sex with his friend in his bed and stepping on his toes and just being an all round two-faced Bitch! And now only good thing her prescence did for the show which was to help Penny realize how much she wanted Leonard for herself has now been ruined because now that Priya's gone Penny is still on the fence about him. So really what little good Priya did for the show is now a Bust all over again. SHAMEFUL! I hope she stays in India and never returns unless its just so Penny, Amy and Bernadette can throw her down all four flights of stairs and kick the crap out of her.

I think a lot peoples choices are already known from there other posts. We all have favorite likes and dislikes.

My favorites have always been L&P as the Protagonists and Sheldon as the Antagonist. While I feel Jim Parson does an excellent job portraying Sheldon, However I couldn't stand to be around a real Sheldon. I am afraid Amy & Sheldon are stealing the show. I love Amy but I still can't warm up to the Sheldon character because he is so arrogant.

I like the humor of Howard, especially when it is cynical or directed at Sheldon's expense. Raj I could do with out.

Bernadette I like and enjoy but I would rather see the old Howard.

Favorite extras are Lesli Winkle and Dr Beverly. Wil Wheaton I could care less for.

I am new to the forums and have only watched 4 episodes in their entirety since 2007 but my sister is a HUGE Big Bang fan and is always singing its praises. Thus I decided to check in on last week's episode, 43- The Pecularality.

My reaction: Great flow... Ample humor... Great interplay between characters

I haven't seen nearly as much material as everyone on this forum but if I had to rank my favs from the episodes I have viewed plus the best of clips from youtube I would list them in the following order

1. Sheldon- Outspoken but in a lovable way.

2. Raj - Guess you could say he is somewhat one-dimensional but he is a fun character and its not like the writers give

him big storylines

3. Howard- Another fun character. Love the scenes including Howard and Raj. Going forward I wish for more scenes

such as Howard and Raj trying to discover the meaning of "43" and less of the relationship focus Shamy, etc.

4. Penny- Best chemistry is probably with Sheldon. That is what drove the show in the early episodes that I watched.

More scenes of funny conflict between the two is what I'd like to see.

5. Alex- Don't know enough about her acting skills yet.. pretty early. But boy is she atractive Love to see her pal

with Raj a bit

5. Amy- Good actress but would like to see her get a job with Sheldon and less time with the main group.

6. Leonard- Something about his character that rubs the wrong way. He has some very good lines but his facial

expressions many times come across as smarmy rather than loveable to this viewer.

7. Bernadine- Gives Howard more to do but away from Raj and their good bromance moments. Not a positive to me.

1. Sheldon and Amy - sorry you can't ask me to pick. If I HAD to, gun to the head style, I'd probably pick Sheldon, but it's way too close to choose. I just relate so much to both of them for different reasons.

2. Bernadette - she cracks me up so much with that voice and the She-Hulk attitude she brings out sometimes.

3. Howard - he was my least favorite when I first started watching the show but he really has grown on me.

4. Penny - her interactions with everyone on the show are just great, there isn't one character on the show she's boring with.

5. Leonard - he's a sweetie, but a bit too "normal" for me to find him interesting.

6. Raj - Not that I don't like him, I love the guy and would eat him up, but he is a bit stagnant at the moment.

To be honest, I watch the show for Sheldon and Amy (and I don't mean just the Shamy, although I am digging the Shamy), then there's an abyss between them and all the others in terms of interest for me, but I do genuinely like everyone, with no exception.

Well I do know why I don't love Leonard the way I should. Galecki looks so much like my ex-fiancee I can't take it sometimes. Is dumb, but I know that's the reason. He would be my favorite if it wasn't for that (he was though when I was still engaged to that guy) is not his fault

hmmmm.....some very bad reactions against Priya.... I did not much per say like her... but I never felt much hatred towards her...May be its just me

I agree the part about the storyline regarding Penny coming to a realization but still being on the fence about Leonard
