Episode 2.11 (Dec 15th)

What a fantastic episode. I was grinning from ear to ear from the scene in the store all the way to the end. The presents each of them got for each other were so funny and so ... affectionate. No sign of Stephanie, though. Hopefully the writers will tie up those loose ends in an episode after the holidays. And Penny and Leonard are definitely on track. It's just a matter of time. Could be a LONG time (and I hope it is, because the game is so delightful) but they'll get there.

That was a indeed a GREAT episode, cannot wait for the next but ya what did happen to Stephanie? and is there going to be possible "Lenny" in the future regardless that was an excellent ep especially Sheldon's whole gift giving hypothesis.

Yeah, that was a great one. Definetely wayyy better than 2x10. Just to be knitpicky : what are Sheldon and Leonard drinking at the beginning ? Cuz, I didn't know there was such a thing as "Diet Cola". Diet coke or Diet Pepsi, sure, but Diet cola ? You can easily spot the dr pepper and 7up (pepsico) but can't figure out what Sheldon's having. Anybody has a clue ?

Well I have noticed that some of the cans are faked, like they leave a part of the label as to not be accused of product placement, that is also why they put a sticker over the mac logo whenever they use a mac on the show. The soda cans were most likely just made in the prop department for the show.

Well it was the last new episode until January. On a separate note I went to the CBS press room website and they had this to say about last night's episode: THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (6.8/11), viewers (11.42m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12), adults 18-49 (4.2/11) and adults 18-34 (3.5/10). This is THE BIG BANG THEORY's best delivery ever in households, viewers, adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. and this is what The Hollywood Reporter had to say about last night over at thrfeed.com : CBS' comedy block surged Monday night to some of its highest ratings ever. With top competitor ABC airing holiday specials, CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" (11.4 million, 4.2) had series-high numbers in all key measurements; "How I Met Your Mother" (11.4 million, 4.6/11) hit an all-time high in the adult demo; "Two and a Half Men" (17.9 million, 5.6/13) had its strongest performance since the evening after CBS aired the Super Bowl in 2007; "Worst Week" (12.1 million, 3.6/9) had its biggest rating since its season premiere. "CSI Miami" (14.4 million, 3.8/10) was also strong. All four of CBS' comedies hit series or season highs here, but the most impressive parties in this news are the 8 p.m. shows -- "Big Bang" and "Mother" have been among the very few returning titles to demonstrate ongoing growth this fall.

hello all!

In this episode, at the university cafeteria scene, there is something i would like to ask you:

Howard has a can of Dr Peeper (sic!) in front of him on his tray. Now, is this a joke? I mean did they change Dr Pepper can into dr peeper to joke about howards sexual habits, or is there really a brand called Dr Peeper in the states???

-just curious!
