(The) Shangri-Las. An American pop girl group of the 1960s. Between 1964 and 1966 they charted with often heartbreaking teen melodramas,  and remain perhaps best known for their hits "Leader of the Pack" and "Remember (Walking in the Sand)".

Underoath. An American Christian post-hardcore band. Founded by Dallas Taylor and Luke Morton on the 30th of November, 1997 in Ocala, Florida, subsequently its additional members were from Tampa, Florida.

Willie Nix, an American Chicago blues singer and drummer, active in Memphis, Tennessee, in the 1940s and 1950s. Also known as The Memphis Blues Boy. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1922 and died in 1991.
