Who's Your Favourite Actor-Singer?

Recommended Posts

Okay!

There are a lot of actors who are also known singers. And lot of singers who have done acting too.

So who is your favourite actor-singer, or singer-actress???

Some examples to get your brainboxes rolling:

-John Travolta, Don Johnson (of Miami Vice), Madonna, and of course, Elvis.

My favourite singer-actor is J-lo!

-I mean Jennifer is brilliant actress, and a very good singer too.

-not to mention that her amazingly shapely rear quarters! (woof woof!)

-I really love her in Maid in Manhattan!

My favourite actor/singer is Kevin Costner.

*He has been my favourite actor since I was a kid.

*He has a band called, Kevin Costner and Modern West. He's a great singer! got a CD out

*He's gorgeous and an incredible actor. haha.

Second, and a very close second would be Hugh Laurie.

*He's my favourite British actor and in my top five for favourite American actor.

*He has a blues album out titled, Let Them Talk. He just got done with a tour with his band Hugh Laurie and The Copper Bottom Band. I saw him in concert.

*Again with the gorgeous and incredible actor talk. :)

Humm Bette Middler is my absolute favorite Actor/Singer. I just love, LOVE HER (I liked Sally Field on Norma Rae, but that Oscar should have gone to Bette for The Rose)

Of course, also the absolutely FABULOUS! Liza Minelly. Liza forever. & Liza's mom: The one and ONLY, Judy Garland. I also love Julie Andrews.. & Barbra Streissand

(LOL I have a gay man's taste!)

David Bowie!!! He was awesome in Labyrinth and I loved him playing Tesla on The Prestige.

I would also say Harry Connick Jr & Nick Cave (he did Johnny Suede... does that count?) If it does, also Debbie Harry (Hairspray) & Iggy Pop (Cry Baby)

Tim Curry (Rocky Horror Picture Show).. his voice does things to me.

Oh this is EASY!

William Shatner!

every time I see Shatner singing, etc I remember that Futurama episode where he is doing the spoken version of Slim Shady by Eminem:

- how can he do a spoken version of a rap song?

- He found a way

I have to go with John Travolta since he was my first crush since I first saw Grease when I was young teen.

Lots and lots of women :icon_mrgreen:

Are you sure they weren't transgenders, or women inside men's bodies, or just crossdressers?

-cue some crying game music!

Mine is Shirley Manson from Garbage. She was in The Sarah Conner Chronicles.

Also, I don't know if she sings, but Zooey Deschanel is in a band.

Well, if I say, I'm gonna be dating myself.....but, since my age is in my profile.....I can't decide so in no particular order:

The Men:

Frank Sinatra

Gene Kelly

Bing Crosby

Dean Martin

Sammy Davis Jr.

Ben Vereen

Jerry Orbach

The Women:

Judy Garland

Julie Andrews

Barara Streisand

Bette Midler

Dorothy Lamour

Doris Day

Chita Rivera

Actually, the best woman actor-singer is my daughter, who flew into New York today. She has appointments for auditions and will also go to open calls for the next month
