BazingaFan
Thank you Shel_Ra for the video links. Watching it again is even more fun. this episode was just epic, every member of the cast was spot on with their lines. just a side note -- I really liked how penny did her hair and this episode. Also, I liked seeing leonard and penny play the father and mother roles in this episode, like they have done in the past. Didn't work out well for penny this time though. koops
Penny was great in this episode, imo. Whilst she might not have been as successful as Leonard, I enjoyed her more than I did him. Loved how she tried to change the topic of conversation over and over again at the beginning. lol.
Moonbase
Great episode. When Prady said there would be a lot of H/B's marriage this season I was disappointed, because I don't find them funny. So I'm thrilled they are using them separately like this. Amy and Bernadette fighting is a nice turn up for the books. Could never understand why the 3 girls were friends. The guys have common ground, as nerds but the girls are completely different so this made sense. "Zompire!" Raj you idiot. Sheldon quoting his father is kind of scary, he almost turns in to him. The only part I thought was a little weak, was the closing scene. The dry cleaner man was good but Sheldon wasn't funny, for me anyway. LoveShamy
Loved this episode! All three of the girls made me laugh so much! Howard and Sheldon, just too funny! revenge is best served nude. LOVE IT :D
netmouse
Best episode of the season so far for me. Really enjoyed this one. Lots of lol moments. The Sheldon vs Howard stuff was hilarious. I found Sheldon's theory regarding how vampires shave a lot funnier than the whole zompire/mummy thread that ran through this ep. Solid, otherwise. Three smiles up :)
SRAM
Again overall great episode. However, the makeup between Howard and Sheldon was weak and lame. Sheldon was so wrong in this episode and went batshit crazy again. I think instead of Raj bringing Howard in to work it out with crazy Sheldon, it should have been an enraged Leonard coming in, mad about Penny's nose, telling crazy Sheldon he is going to end it or else. Then instead of a restaurant scene, they should have had Leonard and Penny together and her asking how Leonard ended it. He would tell her then of some off the wall threat he made, that would only scare Sheldon, and she would tell him he really is a genius. She could then kiss him, then jump back, crying "Oh my nose". Scene end. Finally they could have used the dry cleaning scene or then the restaurant scene.

djvang
Good episode overall. Loved the scenes with the guys. Great zombie vs mummy debate. Hated the scenes with the girls. Bernadette's voice gets annoying very fast. And I really didn't need to know about Amy's enormous amount of pubic hair. Just adds to her "Ewwwww!" factor. I find the current version of her to be repulsive. Sorry Amy lovers.

It set them up to use it in a way like this but they ended up just sweeping it under the rug like everything else... it wasn't super funny, wasn't important to the story line, and overall achieved well nothing really. Maybe I just didn't like seeing her get hurt like that but I mean why put it there? Would have really like to see something similar to your idea. Those numbers for the 11/15 episode were the Live + 3. The original numbers for the 11/15 was 5.5/16, unfortunately, they don't a breakout for total viewers for Live + sameday. Shel_Ra_Ho_Le
#TeamSheldon #TeamAmy I dont care. Sheldon was NOT wrong to be angry about his spot! He (before Howard went up to space) was the big deal and its about respect. He felt disrespected for Siebert to 'give away' his spot to someone else. Its about respect people! An eye for eye treatment is so expected with Sheldon Lee (trouble) Cooper. Howard is his frienemy and rival so what did you expect? And who the HELL voted this episode 'bad' and 'very bad'? What the hell were YOU watching??? Edited November 30, 2012 by Shel_Ra_Ho_Le
phantagrae
Okay, so--GREAT EPISODE!!! :D I was laughing out loud the whole time. I loved the way Leonard used Sheldon like a secret weapon in the Zombie/Mummy discussion. And I loved the cookie reward--and how later on Sheldon wouldn't cooperate without a cookie. I loved Sheldon's shock at seeing Wolowitz sitting naked in his spot--and the laptop on his lap top. I also love the way the girls escalated from catty remarks to all-out war. And yes, I think that Penny's injury was necessary as it was that moment that sort of shook Amy and Bernie out of their escalation. But I love how devious little Bernadette can get and how Amy was caught off-guard by it. I thought Sheldon's attempt to move Howard's car was fitting and in character--it was one of those sort of childish things that aren't uncommon for Sheldon. If he can't get his way by talking, by golly, he's gonna try to do something about it, and the simplest thing would be to just move the car. When he realized he couldn't do it that way, well, then the fun starts. Now, the scene in the back seat of Amy's car--though I liked the way it played (nothing really over the top, Sheldon's non-reaction reaction) I'm still a little confused by it. I mean, I guess the joke is for the audience--Amy shows Sheldon a pretty intimate area (I'm sure she wasn't showing him EVERYTHING) and his reaction is typical Sheldon--paint fumes and bandaids, not "ooh, baby!" or anything. But there's not a whole lot of point made because we couldn't see her face when he commented--was she disappointed? happy? proud of herself? Anyway... I loved Sheldon camping out in the parking spot, telling that guy not to look at the math on his board, sticking his tongue out at Howard, the bit about the baggie on his leg (catheter?!?!?!) and I love the way his voice was practically breaking when he was telling Leonard about his contributions to the University's physics program. For a second there I thought Sheldon was going to cry! (not really, but his voice sounded like it) I don't think that Sheldon stripping to sit in Howard's car was OOC. He was thinking payback, and if Howard was going to anal-residue up his couch cushion, then Sheldon was gonna do the same to Howard's beloved brand new car. As for stripping so quickly, I think Sheldon can get out of his clothes fast enough when he wants to, like when he realized he'd been sitting in "garbage" with Penny's "trash chair". He peeled out of that first shirt and got down to his tightie whities pretty quickly in her apartment (until he saw the wet bandaid. :D ) I think that catheter would have slowed him down a bit, though... Anyway, I also like the way they resolved it. I think that Raj knew exactly what to have Howard say and do, knowing how Sheldon would react. Make Howard look like the "bigger man" and Sheldon would have to be sure he came out on top as the bigger man, thus allowing Howard to use the spot...until he gets a batmobile. Raj must have figured out how to play Sheldon's game when he was sharing an office with him all that time. And I loved Sheldon's comments to the dry cleaner guy about the lipid tests and rectal residue or whatever he was saying. And the bit about the laptop that had spent less than 20 minutes on an astronaut's p-word. That scene reminded me of something my college friends and I used to say--one of my friends would sometimes call someone a "bun-biter", meaning biting someone on the butt, so we soon started coming up with variations on that, like colon-cruncher, rectum-ripper, anal-annihilator, etc. Sheldon's variations on whatever Howard might have deposited on his cushion reminded me of those days...sigh. bostrich
Yeah, the real, total ratings usually aren't calculated until a couple of days afterward. Numbers from the next morning are never the final numbers and BBT has been adjusting upward. Finals are usually released by 7pm eastern on the same day. These are the live (+same day DVR) figures. These are the ratings that "matter" i.e. the ones that networks and advertisers use to evaluate the show. The total number of viewers and the +3 day and +7 day DVR numbers are interesting, but they don't count for much in deciding whether a show will be renewed, because advertisers are only interested in people 18-49 and for the DVR figures the ads are usually fast forwarded. Big Bang is of course renewed already. You guys are right that the finals have had it adjusting up all season, so I think a 0.1 or 0.2 + is likely later today. Still, 5.4 is an amazing figure. Fans of other shows would kill for it. Edit: I should have added that most people use the final (+same day DVR) to compare a show's performance across weeks because that's what the networks do. Numbers from the next morning are never the final numbers and BBT has been adjusting upward. I was just pointing out that the comparison wasn't good. If you compare the overnights for this week's show with the week of 11/15, they are virtually identical. It will be interesting to see whether this weeks show will get as big of a bump.
