Thank the maker for dual tuner DVRs, I expect we might see Chuck surpass Big Bang tonight in the ratings game. (if they would air Chuck in the slot before Big Bang they would be allot better off, or after Heroes) Chuck is doing a 3D show tonight that got allot of buzz during the Super Bowl.

I loved tonight's episode of TBBT is was so funny I'm still laughing, not to worried about chuck beating TBBT mostly because NBC is a disaster of a network, the reason Chuck got any coverage during last night's game was probably due to the fact that NBC was airing it but who knows...gosh tonight's episode was the definition of hilarity. Fantastic episode! How nice to see after the last few, where the oddly unfunny character of Kripke dominated and Sheldon's quirks were overblown until they were painful to watch. This time around, we're back to the regulars, with tender moments alternating with truly funny interactions. Sheldon lending Penny money openly and honestly was sweet, especially his not caring in the least when she would pay it back. I Loved the random conversation about Sheldon being a pet of a super-intelligent aliens, and Sheldon asking over and over if something Penny says is sarcasm. The byplay about Leonard moving in with Penny was delightful. The comparison between Leonard's "quest" and The Lord of the Rings was hilarious ("They had a terrible time of it, Leonard." "Plus, no one stole their pants."). And the ending ... wide open about Penny and Kurt, and Leonard is left with marker on his forehead, and Penny didn't even know what Leonard did for her ... just makes us all look desperately forward to the next episode. To cap it all off, loved the tag at the end: Sheldon singing what the minstrels were going to be singing about Leonard's noble deed, "There once was a brave lad named Leonard ..." Raj and Howard had good moments, too, which was wonderful to see. Thank you thank you, writers. You've come through again! Steve

Sheldon: My expenses account for 46.9% of my after-tax income. The rest is divvied up between a small savings account, this deceptive container of peanut brittle and the hollowed-out buttocks of a superhero action figure, who shall remain nameless for his own protection. Or her own protection.

Yet, in The Excelsior Acquisition:-

Sheldon: I don’t trust banks.

1 hour ago, Stephen Hawking said:

For someone struggling by on minimum wage, Penny has an awful lot of clothes.

She's always turning up in different outfits. :scratchhead:

She doesn't have to buy clothes for work, so that's a few dollars saved. She probably also gets enough in tips to afford nice items in a small size.
