It took me a long time to come to terms of having a failed marriage & knowing how to deal with it...and I don't even have kids! A divorce is a very personal & private matter & I should hope the press will give them that personal time to come to terms with it....also making assumptions on why a marriage failed is just plain rude imo. People often reach conclusions without knowing the whole, full & 2 sided story...hence why it's a private matter. Outside interference can cause even more trouble for a couple in such a situation needs... Not geared to anyone in particular here I have to add. But I know what people can be like if the D word comes up. Hoping they will come to the best possible arrangement for the kids & trying to set aside any animosity between them. Pomita Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 (edited) I agree that previous instances like Mayim going back to work immediately after her injury, or needing extra help and support from Jim and Melissa as friends, can be seen as foreshadowing in a way, in retrospect. However it does seem a bit pointless to speculate on previous hints now.. let's just hope for the best for her in the future. Divorce is always better option than trying to stick together in a situation where there is no love left. I mean we only have one life, so there is no point spending a minute with a person you do not love, right? That's true. Sadly, sometimes it also happens that the love is still there, but love is not enough. Life can come up with 101 other issues and complications which can't be solved by love alone. I was looking for pictures of Mayim and found some pictures of Mike & the kids playing that were obviously taken without them knowing. According to the site, they were taken yesterday. ShamyForever Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 At first I was surprised when I read Mayim's divorce statement. Now I can see hints that things were not going great at home. One thing I thought was strange back was back when the Emmy's nominations were announced. At the time, her & the boys were visiting her best friend on the east coast. She mentioned how she immediately called her parents. Then she named some other people she called or emailed with the news. At the time, I thought it was strange how she didn't mention calling her husband with the news. I am sad to see that photographers followed Michael and the boys. Usually when a person is going to be interviewed, their agent gives the show/interviewer a list of topics that are off the table. Sometimes though some do not respect the request and ask anyway. I haven't seen the episode of the View she is talking about, but I'm sure I don't want to see it, since I hate that show. I like that less than a week after The View bashed me and blamed me for my parenting choices causing my divorce, I got a residuals check for my appearance on their show from last year which was about my parenting book.
