Mayim Issues Divorce Statement

hahaha! It's funny because in another forum someone mentioned that she saw some of those from The View were talking about her and her divorce and I think Joy was blaming her for her parenting method, and that I said it's weird because they just had her in her show when she had her book. Then look at the irony now. hahahaha!

Always funny to see people refer to actors by their first names. As if they know them IRL.

Jim, Johnny, Simon and I are going out for Gelato later.

:icon_rolleyes:

Its called having respect for the person not just the character and from experience they prefer to be named or addressed by their REAL name not their character.

Exactly.

Personally, I feel awkward talking about the actors when people don't know their real names. People know I go to tapings and they ask me how they are and I will say, "Oh, Jim started laughing at this one thing." and they'll be like, "Who?" and I hate saying, "Sheldon." because Sheldon didn't laugh, Jim did.

There's a difference between the two. You wouldn't say, "Jim made Mayim sign his relationship agreement."

your gif -- isn't that the interview where the guy asks jim about the "ladies", and he raises his eyebrows to the camera, like "what in the world is this guy asking me?"

Yes, exactly. After diplomatically bypassing the question. :)

So agree! It actually hurts me when someone who claims to be a fan of the show confuses the real names or looks at a picture of Jim and calls him Sheldon.

Sometimes it does feel odd addressing him as Jim. If I met him I'd call him Mr Parsons for sure but I'm used to it here, and he's a very open person so I just find myself using his first name. It's shorter. :)

I'm not sure I would be calling him anything at all, if I ever met him. I have a habit of not addressing people by their names. :p

(Ah, the thought of meeting him..)

Yeah it's quite a thought! 'Mr Parsons do you want to go for coffee' springs to mind…can't think why.  :icon_lol:
