But frankly speaking I don't think Amy's family is as rich as it is described in this novel.If her family is really rich,she wouldn't be so lonely when she was in high school

Money sometimes means many things,you know.

The whole point of fan fiction is that is doesn't have to be 100% accurate to what we're seeing on TV. For example, in many fan fiction stories we read, Sheldon has sex in them which also hasn't happened on the show.

 

Also, having money, as Chloe already said, doesn't mean people can't be lonely.

emm,i agree that fiction can be diffirent.

But this story is so "real",so I can't stand putting forward a higher standard.

I also agree people having much money can be lonely too,I think maybe I din't express myself correctly.I mean a girl from a rich family won't be bullied like that.But as you say,it's a fiction which satisfy us,so I don't need to request so much.

Thanks everyone for your enlightening discussions and your kind words.  I am so glad you enjoyed the story.   Yes, this is the introduction story to The Engaging Driver.   I wrote it first (right around Thanksgiving) and felt it was a story that had so much more that had to be told so started The Engaging Driver as a follow-on to it.   The Engaging Driver has had a life of it's own.  It just keeps on driving!
