i think there has been lots of sexual tension in the shamy realtionship over the years i feel it a lot in the eye-sex epseically in TSTM and maybe even the spanking sene when theyre sitting on the couch before you kniow

Yeah, I see what you mean. His "hello" from the CTV promo is sweeter. He doesn't know what Amy's planned yet and based on his smile pre-hug it looks like he warms up quite a bit.

Yes, but I think that is because he felt pressured into doing something or saying something romantic for the evening.  His expectations of what he thought Amy expected were off.   He didn't realize she was going to change the whole evening plan on him.   It did sound disappointing, but Sheldon still "isn't there" yet.

 

Also, we all know Sheldon finds "feelings to be hippie-dippy" things.  So he is going to eventually have to admit he does have them and once he does, I don't know if he will change his attitude much at all or not.   Hard to say.  But he is Sheldon and even if he feels them and expresses them in his Sheldon-like way, it probably will still be good.

 

I think as far as looking warm and fuzzy and smiley when thinking about going on what most people consider a "romantic" date, that he will always struggle with.   He will create romance his style and it will still be well accepted by Amy.

I was going to quote and comment on a lot of things, but I just saw the promo and everything else is slipping my mind.

 

Why does it feel so romantic to me, to see Sheldon getting hugged by Amy in a suit? And her face before that.. and his smile.. there's an inordinate amount of old-world charm there, making me think of Darcy or something. I just can't.

 

(Why does that irritating 2.5 something have to be conjoined with this bit of heaven?)

You're right. He wasn't entusiatic because he honestly was not looking forward to it. Then, when she reveals they're not going out, he's happy.

For some reason I imagine Amy and Sheldon getting a little competetive with each other at some point, and get heated up with snarky scientific trash talk that only they can understand along with the eye coitus and everything. That would create some sexual tension I'd like to see...

So she has one point higher than Sheldon's IQ 187. That would really cause some kind of competition between them? I'm not sure though how Sheldon would react at this. Jealousy or admiration or something else? The writers could have some good material there to deal with Shamy.

Also, as I rewatched the Valentine's promo, I noticed that when Sheldon was smiling he'd leaned forward a bit and looked more ready for a kiss than a hug. And, the fangirl in me took his initial surprise to be that it was a hug and not a kiss he seemed primed for. A Shamy fangirl can dream, right?

Haha that would be an interesting premise for competition, if Sheldon gets all huffy and starts pointing out how the test was unfair or whatever so they agree to have their IQ's re-tested at the same time to settle the score. There would be so much sexual tension every time they meet before the test .

But I think that wouldn't happend because he knows that he  missed her then and this incident shows him that she is really importent to him, then they agreed that the fault decomposes 60% to 40%

Well, there's nothing official that says her IQ is higher than his.  The way I understand it, these items were not based on anything in canon.

While it's a fun idea to bandy about--and I think it would be interesting to see Sheldon grapple with the idea, there's no canon to support the assertion.

 Wow those words are so beautiful. It melted my heart       I imagine their dance, sheldon in black tuxedo, Amy in breathtaking dress, maybe red with properly exposed neckline...  gazing one another's eyes

It is true they have never revealed her IQ, but many fans have suspected hers to be a point or two higher than his.  If anything, the writers have had Sheldon assume it was lower, so it would be interesting if he suddenly learned hers was actually higher.   It would be fun to see the writers do something with that (as long as it was done in  a way that kept them still very together as a couple).

I agree. I just want to point that this is another proof that he really have strong feelings for her, because in that episode in season 4 when Sheldon adopted so many cats, he really missed  her. I think.. regardless of her arguments in the caffeteria and that he was angry, he really miss her

First of all: That's a lovely song! It fits so well with Shamy, it would be really cool to have a video with this :-)

I'm a big Shamyfan too (ask my boyfriend, he experienced some huge fangirlmoments with me and he doesn't like it very much :D) and  a big fan of making videos :-)

The "mmkay", like Monique said, it's because he's not looking forward to it, but the way he says Hello before I thought was quite husky, that's why I said there might be a hint of sexual tension. (come on people! font 10, let's not start anarchy in here! )

I think that's why he was so afraid to live with Amy because there is sexual tension, and he is afraid of what he feels. And we  maybe will see during next episodes that feeling will slowly come out

OK, so after the checklist posted the other day, I'm convinced Sheldon is in love with Amy.  I'm not sure he's aware of it yet, despite his claim "when I have a feeling, I know it."  Question:  (assuming he isn't yet aware of it) when he does become aware, will he be nervous to tell her and put it off?  I could see it going either way.  On the one hand, he doesn't like to talk about feelings.  Also, he saw L/P break up over an unreturned ILY.  On the other hand, I could see him being very matter-of-fact about it and saying it like it's no big deal.

 

Will Thursday *never* get here?
