It is a person who I think is a Shenny outright or a Secret one... *Annoyed* From reading their negative comments about Penny and delusions that Penny meant Sheldon and not Leonard when he "asked her out" and she mentioned a guy who is with somebody else... Please tell me how in the ten hells is that even a Shenny scene?!? *Confused beyond words.*

That's okay, little by little people will start to understand that posting in his threads is a waste of time.

It is one person posting. As long as the majority ignore it, he'll have to face his insignificance.

Although the person responding is being almost purposefully tedious...

This could be performance art.

This was just posted in the episode thread.  I loved it in the taping report and it's even better with Kaley and Jim.

I had the worst day today--extra grueling, but then in class tonight I started talking without knowing exactly what I wanted to say and I ended up making a complete fool of myself.  It's so nice to come home and sign on to a happy friendly place.

*Hides out in here before searching for more fics.* This Thread really is something special isn't it? :icon_wink: Ladies we are at 200 pages!  :icon_mrgreen:  What is the consensus on what to do? Keep going? :icon_rolleyes: Start a Shamy Thread Part 2? (Hopefully with a line about how much they are IN Love in the title! :p ) How do we Best keep all the Shamy fans happy and yet stick it to the Haters at the same exact time? :p:icon_lol:

What to do? What to do? What to do?  ^_^

Snapped at somebody the other day for going after one of our members for gushing in the Things I'd Like To See Shamy Do Thread. It was a fun, happy and yes silly little post and some jerk went off on her. Made me pretty mad because she Rarely posts on the Forum and when she does she should be welcomes; not attacked, mindlessly.

You know what? we're letting them win by talking about them here too...we should stop (pointing fingers at all of us, not any one in particular). Let's not ruin our own Shamy paradise by yappin' about attention seekers and their bullshit. If we need to rant, we should just P.M. each other :-).

In fact, maybe we should just all go back and delete our posts. I think I'm going to delete mine.

Well, in here :-). But hey, if you wanna go delete there too then why not? I just figure in here is a start because this is supposed to be OUR place to enjoy and we're doing good by not participating there but we've brought it over here now which defeats the purpose.

Sheldon being Sheldon in the clip. :icon_lol:    I have to admit, while his "good job" message sounded sincere, it still comes across that it was because Amy told him to go tell Penny she did a good job. I mean it is clear he did appreciate her help and did think it was useful, but I doubt he would have said anything to her if it wasn't for Amy. :icon_lol:    I want to see how the theater scene plays out to be honest.   I am hoping there are some cute moments between Shamy in them even though they are mainly focused on Penny's acting.

LOL! Brilliant scene.

And, Teneal, I hear you. I've had an awful day yesterday too, stupid equipment is messed up for good so I can't finish my last experiment until it's fixed :( I just want to finish and get out of here! ARGH! Thank God for Shamy.

That's why Amy is such a wonderful girlfriend for him. We've learned since season 1 that Sheldon isn't always so nice to people because that's just part of his personality so it's good that Amy is there to give him that push and teach him do the right thing at times...even if he fails, he'll always remember.

Yes, we are going next week.

I think what's ironic in the whole situation is that Penny probably taught Amy to behave first. And now she's teaching Sheldon. LOL.

I think Amy always had some social skills though, over Sheldon that is. I think she always knew when to thank people and show appreciation.  I think she just went about the wording of things oddly and was often over enthusiastic.  I don't think Penny taught her things like that as much as how to interact when it comes to "romance" more than anything. I think it has always been within Amy to show appreciation to others, even without Penny's help.   So I don't credit, in this case, Penny teaching Amy but do credit Amy teaching Sheldon.

So glad to hear you are going next week!  Yay!  I agree that Amy is a good girlfriend for him and pushes him to do the right thing.  In fact I think it is because he admires her so that he does follow her promptings.

I'm talking before she started getting excited and enthusiastic about things. I'm not sure Amy had that many social skills in early S4. "That doesn't interest me, goodbye". Or the way she used to treat the others when she had just started hanging out with them. Or at the first date with Penny. Like Leonard said, she was obnoxious, sanctimonious and condescending. I remember some people saying that she might have been even worse than Sheldon at the beginning. I think it was easier for her to take on board social skills because she's not as rigid as Sheldon when it comes to change, but at the beginning she was just as bad as him. It wasn't until she started hanging out with Penny and Bernadette that she softened up. It might have been a defense mechanism for her, whereas Sheldon just doesn't care, and that's why she changed more easily.
