Retroluv Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 (edited) http://m.etonline.com/tv/130836_Big_Bang_Stars_Jim_Parsons_Mayim_Bialik_Dish_on_Sheldon_Amy_s_Romance/index.html I find it interesting that ET assumes Shamy's "sexy time" will commence at the end of this season. Nice to hear Jim confirm that the relationship is, indeed, headed towards physical intimacy, but I think the idea of an end-of-season encounter seems pretty far-fetched at this point. Jim also comments on the increased amount of Shamy touching this season, which counters what we've all observed. I feel like the actors tend to represent the viewpoint of the writers (though they may not be privvy to long-term story arcs). Do we take this to mean that the writers aren't aware of the impression they are leaving us with when Sheldon still, after 2 years of dating, can't hug his girlfriend without a look of exxasperation? I have a feeling TPTB don't put as much thought into these thing as we do. Could be carelessness... What do you guys think? Are they holding him back on purpose or are they simply failing to communicate the subtext as intended (that Sheldon is stepping it up this season and moving towards intimacy)?
