stardustmelody
Maria and Tara were both there. The interesting thing about the Hulu version online is that it cuts off some of the bottom and sides so you miss out on a few of the MaJim interactions and hand movements as a results. I was really disappointed in that. In my theater you could see a lot more than what showed on it. There was a lot more going on that what you could see on this one. Bummer. I agree with your comment about Chuck. I have always found him a bit quieter than Prady or Molaro and very respectful of the characters, the cast and crew and the audience. About Jim on the panel...he almost seemed like he didn't want to be on there and if it wasn't for being with Mayim he likely wouldn't have been. He was a bit cocky and snarky with Kaley in particular. He definitely kept his whole body language on focus to Mayim. He seemed like she was his life-ring for having to be there. koops
It's weird though. Does he not like doing panels? I always thought he was in such a good mood at Comic Con, even when via satellite. He just seemed much more snarky than usual.
stardustmelody
I don't know if he and Kaley had had a tiff right before it or not. When he first walked in, she had a really angry look on her face. It was like she was mad she had to sit near him or something. Likewise, he immediately turned away from her and faced toward Mayim's empty chair and when Mayim walked in, he gave Mayim an amazing smile. It could have just been that something had been said off stage right before that set them off...I don't know. But neither seemed very happy with the other. Kaley seemed to get over it more as the panel went on...but he still seemed like he was only interested in Mayim and the producers and didn't want to deal with anyone else. Or perhaps he just was nervous. I am sure it is nerve-wracking worrying you might say something you shouldn't. koops
Melissa is just brilliant. The way she says her stories and does the voice, and then she just sits there with this big smile on her face like she's a little girl. haha. adorable (sorry, I didn't mean to hijack the thread with panel posts). rachelshamyfan
Kaley made a few comments that probably annoyed Jim, she is s bit attention seeking but he seemed happy enough especially with Mayim next to him
saweco
Didn't they work earlier that day too? For all we know something could have happened during rehearsal or he could have just been tired. He's got a sense of humor that can be somewhat biting as well.
stardustmelody
Yes they did, but look at when they are first introduced at Kaley. She even shakes her head and has a funny angry look on her face. It is amusing actually. It is right when Jim is approaching and taking his seat. LOL! Also when Mayim approaches, Jim sucks in his breath slightly and then smiles in a huge way. It is adorable. He is already turned toward her when she approaches and he looks so happy she is there. It is just an interesting dynamic to observe...how it all started the whole panel because it set a tone for the rest of it. koops
I didn't find Kaley's comments annoying or that attention seeking. I just thought that their interaction was TOTALLY Sheldon/Penny. He was shooting down all of her comments with condescension. LOL. I mean, maybe it's not something I should laugh about but I found it funny. Maybe they were still in character. The bit about the extension to S10, when he said "You of all people" had Sheldon written all over it.
saweco
*Rewinds ...... Oof, you're right stardust, she looks kind of pissed off! And then when Mayim comes on he takes a deep breath and looks at her like, "here we go!".
stardustmelody
I didn't find them out of character either. Even though he was snarky, he did it still more like "Sheldon" than as if he were mad at her or anything. It was more like their on-screen banter more than anything, but he clearly did condescend her several times. He didn't seem to do that with anyone else. I took it that they were comfortable and used to bantering like that. I could be mistaken, but it didn't seem like more than that to me. However, the initial introductions was a different story. She looked upset and he just turned his back slightly to her, it was done not rudely or anything, but more like he was waiting for Mayim to come out and wanted to have her there (like a security blanket kind of thing) and nothing really about Kaley. Kaley, however, may have been upset with him. She looked more angry.

And then when Mayim comes on he takes a deep breath and looks at her like, "here we go!". Yep. He was genuinely thrilled when Mayim arrived and sat down. The other thing is that Kaley was the only one that didn't hi-five or take Pauley's hand in some way. She just walked on past her, but even Mayim squeezed Pauley's hand as she walked by. koops
I don't know, he was snarky to someone else at one point. I don't know who he was talking to but he said something like "Nobody asked you". And I was like... ouch. The second gif where Mayim sits down just makes me laugh so hard. I just want a caption there that says "Mwhahaha". Because that's what I hear in my head when he starts laughing. And I start laughing. Mayim was very quiet on the other hand, she didn't really say much. Except laugh her ass off on occasion. silverangel
Try this koops, If you have google chrome open it and go here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hola-unblocker/gkojfkhlekighikafcpjkiklfbnlmeio/related then click the 'add to chrome' button. and you literally wait for 1 second and the button will say 'added to chrome'. Then it takes you to a screen that says 'now you can access all these sites' and has a list. Click on hulu and it will take you to the main page where I just typed in 'big bang theory paleyfest' like normal and I could watch the video . It's probably not entirely legal but I was getting desperate so I did some research! It's slightly different to the one untilyou suggested so you can give it a try if you're struggling with mediahint. .Thank you Razberrypie. It works excellent. I watched it and I love it. Thank you. tmp
Jim was certainly sassy but I didn't think he was rude to anyone. I fully support sic-ing Bernadette on anyone who needs to get some comeuppance. She's delightfully feisty, like a chihuahua. (And I agree that Melissa was hilarious on that panel. I've often thought she should write for the show, based on what I've seen of her in interviews.) On most any show, I love scenes when writers take two pairs of people who usually interact a lot and find excuses to switch it up--like if somehow Amy and Howard worked on something together while Bernie and Sheldon did something else. For the end of the season, something needs to happen. A bit of snarkiness aside, Sheldon has still been pretty sweet to Amy this season. It's time to up the ante, though. Whatever happens, it needs to be clearly romantic; we need to see that Amy hasn't merely replaced Leonard as Sheldon's BFF. A kiss is overdue, but what's really overdue is them talking about their relationship with each other. It would be really special if they talked about their feelings for each other and where the relationship is headed. It might lead to a kiss. When she walks in she has anger on her face, yeah he is focused on Mayim, he's turned to her. Maybe is that reason, about which we talked on our prev. posts, that before Mayim there were more interactions between Jim and Kaley, and the flity thing was little more from Kaley side, perhaps( and I'm sure that I'm wrong, and you would think that I'm stupid but....) maybe she was little jealous about Mayim and Jim's chemistry.
