Just watched paley and I thought Jim was very delightful.  He kept it interesting because the moderator was very unorganized or something.  Also like Kunal, Simon and Melissa.  Loved when she did Mrs. Wolowitz!

Mayim was definitley shy...I'm glad Jim was there to make her feel a little bit more comfortable.

Shamy thought for the evening. I just rewatched 5x22. When Sheldon starts speaking at the party, he says "Howard, I always thought you would be the last of us to ever get married". Writers carelessness or interesting line?

I must share with you about some fanfic "The Coccinella Correlation". It was about Shamy v-day.

Quote:Amy contemplates her life and relationship with Sheldon on Valentine's Day. Would this holiday just slip by as a normal day, or does Sheldon have more in store?
Sheldon has found his way to say to Amy that he loves her. He brings to her brain scans and, when taking brain scan he was looking at her picture because he was  nervous and resoults was:
Patient experienced unprecedented activity among dopamine and serotonin receptors; as well as increased concentration of oxytocin exclusively after repeated viewing of image 0113-labeled "Amy Farrah Fowler".
And when she saw it she already knew that he loves her.
It was so beautiful because he told her that words " I love you"  it was so difficult for him but he said it to her. I was really moved, and I had  tears in my eyes.
A little digression, and maybe it could be possible idea for him to show it how much he cares.

Who knows, maybe there's something in those words. He said  the last of us...  so he was talking about himself to, that means he considering himself marrying  with Amy? Well, interesting.... it could be beautifull but maybe it was coincidence...  maybe not...O how I wish that it wasn't coincidence...

Thanks so much for the link, Raz! I don't have chrome installed (I use firefox, and mediahint seems to be incompatible with my version). I'll try to install chrome and try this out as soon as I can. :)

I LOVE that gif in which they twiddle their feet in sync. Talk about mirroring body language, these two are practically twins. :p

He kinda made it worse at times too, like when he said "You have no idea how game this one is for crap like that." and she blushed so hard that all the blood in her body rushed to her skin.  LOL

The split infinitive was carelessness.  ;)  The sentiment is interesting.  Sheldon's ego probably tells him he's a "pretty boy" "chick magnet" who could marry any woman he wanted.  At that point, though, he was already in a relationship with Amy, so maybe he was thinking that someday...

Poor Amy used as a human shield lol, my question is which I mentioned on the episode thread, what do you think Sheldon would do if Amy was threatened? lets paint a short but relavent picture, :p

Sheldon and Amy are walking home
Thug- Give me your bag lady!
Amy- Eeek Sheldon do something!
Sheldon- ...........................

and action ;)

Good question.  Bottom line, Sheldon isn't very brave.   I don't see him being terribly helpful.

1.  Assuming she did ask Sheldon for help, which I am not sure she would....Sheldon would assess how serious of an attacker the person was.   He seems to not be afraid to confront people when he realizes that they likely wouldn't hurt them (such as Leonard with the karate chop and Wil who had wronged his woman).

     a.  If  truly dangerous, he probably would grab Amy's hand and ask that they run for it

     b.  If not much of a threat, he probably would stand up tall and try and look imposing and try to scare off the attacker, then possibly run.  LOL!

2.  Amy most likely would, as taking her purse off from around her, likely swing it like she did when she hit Penny in the nose and get the guy good.  LOL!

I think Sheldon gets very riled up and angry, but knows he isn't terribly good at fighting and can be whopped real easily.   I think he is most likely to run than anything.

:icon_mrgreen: I would really really see that:
Did you hear what lady said?
Give it back to her or I'll kick you so hard in your special place, and you will  see that the speed of my knee is directly proportional to the force with which I kick you, and it will be the last thing  that you will see.
And after when he kicked his crotch so hard that he fell on the sidewalk Sheldon said: you are lucky that Bat'leth is too large to carry it  in  pocket. :icon_lol:  :icon_lol:
It's my imagination and I'm not a physicist, so if something was wrong I'm sorry :icon_lol:  :icon_lol:

Good scenario.  LOL!   Maybe he carries the Asian star in his pocket.  LOL!

:icon_lol: LOL. Well maybe he should  have it in his pocket, if a BIG DOG will attack them some day. But he should make sure that they don't have hot dogs with them. ;)  :icon_lol:  :icon_lol:

I think she would fight the thug.  This show does like to show the women being strong and the men being wimps--Penny with Zarnecki and then there's feisty Bernie.  I loved the two times Sheldon stood up for Amy, though, telling the guys to get their women in line and then confronting Wil Wheaton.

Nice scenario, and the first thing ever came to my mind is:

"Robbing is against the law."

Then he'll turn to Amy and say: "Give him your bag!"

[i have no idea what he would do, but what he might say.]

---

Then, maybe if the thug starts attacking Sheldon, Amy will step up angrily and threatening:

"Don't you dare to touch my boyfriend, I'll get my monkeys poison you and I swear I'll slice your brain thinner than a salami."

---

To be frank, I'll think if things get worse, he'll protect her. He used to save Leonard's life before.

I could slap myself a MILLION times for not asking Steve Molaro a few questions when I met him after PaleyFest. I do this EVERY time. I get AMAZING opportunities and screw up because I'm in shock/shy mode. LOL.

I could have at the VERY LEAST asked him is anything big happening with Shamy before this seasons end but did I? No.

8 years ago, Michael Jackson invited about 100 fans into his Neverland Valley Ranch. My mom and sisters were with me. We went into his home first, followed by some time in his arcade. At one moment I wandered outside of the arcade. Here comes MJ, daughter by his side, he's holding a box full of box sets he plans on giving to the fans....his bodyguards are near, I was the closest fan to him (15 feet) and one of 3 people outside of the arcade. It was the perfect time for me to say, "Thank you, Michael for inviting us into your home..." Did I say anything to him? No. I stood there like an idiot in shock mode. LOL.

*sighhhh*

I think getting shy and starstruck is endearing and normal.  I just am glad you got to go there.  Hey was Todd there?  Did you see him there?

I also thought of him telling her to have him give her the purse.  LOL!   It sounds so Sheldon-y

Somehow I think she would be the feisty one though.

I was going to make a very "naughty" remark about having a hot dog in his pocket...but decided against it.   :icon_redface: :icon_redface: :icon_redface::icon_lol: :icon_lol:

I didn't see Todd any where. If he was, he was hidden well.  LOL.

Thanks, Monique.  I suspect he wasn't there.  I had my suspicions he wasn't, but wasn't sure.   I think you likely would have seen him somewhere up closer to the front and in the theater we could see those folks fairly well.  I didn't see anyone that resembled him there.   By the way, did you have decent seats there or were you up in the balcony?

That was definitely swoon worthy. I loved all of their interactions (even the ones that were supposedly "off camera" that the camera was larger in the theater than on Hulu...so you could see more).  They had a lot of whispering going on and more touching than Hulu showed.  The way he did it as well came across like "She's mine" as well...just like something Sheldon would do.  LOL!

God. Obviously it IS leading to something. That's always how they do it. It's how they make people sympathize with Amy yo begin with. Don't get me wrong, I love Amy. I was ready to sacrifice my sanity for that character, but looking at how they wrote them back in season 5, it often leads to something.
