I am speechless. It's getting worst with every passing episode. I lower my expectations every episode and every episode they get lowered more. I did not expect something like this from a Tara episode. To kick off sweeps of all things. Incredibly disappointing.

It's hard to tell until it airs, but it sounds like Amy wasn't being such a good girlfriend.  She normally accepts Sheldon for who he is, but this time she just flat-out tried to change him.

How do you figure they're getting closer and developing together in this episode?

Because Amy seems to take a lot of effort to help Sheldon out of this finishing OCD thing. Maybe not everyone agrees to me, but I think this is getting closer. adressing OCD and trying to help one get over it.

I mean OCD isn't considered a healthy habit correct? I think this aspect was her trying to help him. So I'm not upset with this aspect necessarily.

I am surprised on the line coming right after a funeral episode and him comparing their dates to being as tedious as going to a funeral.

*sigh* I guess I'll have to also wait until its played out and hope for better last 3 episode Shamy scenes

I guess it depends on whether the wants the help.  But as Jim said, a need (however compulsive) to finish what you start may not be a bad thing.

I don't see it this way at all. I think she truly tried to help him. Think about it, he went through ALL that trouble just to find out how a show he enjoyed WOULD have ended had it not been cancelled. That was the first sign that he needs closure on everything so she jumped at the chance to help. Of course it was torture for him. Sheldon is stubborn.  Yes, he made a mean remark at the end after she left but he may find later on that what she did was helpful or at the very least, made him think a little.

She wasn't trying to help. It's just a bunch of gags for her to prove that he can't stand leaving stuff unfinished. It's VERY different from what it sounded in the interviews at Paley.

hmmm, i think with this, she actually i chasing him far over the edge of his comfort-zone. and it may make him mad. but he is to "into the relationship" to cut her off. I do not like the "wish you where dead" at all, because it is really bad karma. And I do not really understand why they use such hard phrases. But I am really really curious to see how the scene ends.

While I'm not necessarily upset with her helping him, I DO miss the days of the episodes where they were on the same wavelength.

Maybe this is the creators way of torturing Shamy fans, they don't want us to get too comfortable I imagine? A viewer knowing exactly what to expect from something takes the mystery out of a show. And rather than them breaking up completely they are showing issues in the relationship and then will make it sweet later on?

My biggest complaint with the creators if that is in fact what they are doing is its not quite the right time to give them drama imo. They weren't strong enough as a couple yet. I mean we believe Sheldon loves her, but we don't know for sure you know? How can you give these kinds of lines to a couple when the audience isn't even positive where the couple stands.

That's just my two cents.

Really? You're comparing an UN-AIRED episode to an interview to give you your answers?
