Also, about the "they just love each other" line, I haven't really noticed it but, you are right, it is soo sweet! We mention often how Penny is a big Shamy shipper (love her for that!) but i love that Sheldon is a Lenny too. When Lenny had broken up he made comments like "are you sure you can't make it work" and prefers Penny over Leonard's current girlfriend. And then in 6.02 (maybe 6.03, i cant remember) when he tell penny not to "hurt his friend" He always tries to cover it up like its for his convenience but we all know he is a Lenny Shipper! koops Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 maybe the whole Leonard going away thing is supposed to help the shamy in their development, in that Amy may well spend a lot more time with Sheldon and most likely giving him lifts to/from work Yes, that's why I think it would be a waste to just bring Leonard back right away. Or if they do, I hope they at least mention what's been going on over the summer (my favorite plot bunny is Leonard coming back and finding dice in random places around the apartment, LOL, they could have a running-joke all season long with this). They've already been shown to be joined at the hip this year with all the hints of off-screen domesticity and the number of times they've been shown having tea-dates, I can imagine this would just increase with Leonard being away. Penny may miss Leonard so much (and Amy may be spending so much time with Sheldon) that she decides to move Leonard in with her (and doesn't tell him... surprise). Leaving Leonard's room empty for possible Shamy developments. After all Penny's big problem is being rushed into a commitment, if she makes the decision it will be on her time table, and Leonard won't be sad about being with Penny. And with Leonard's Room empty Amy could slowly move her stuff into Leonard's room, until she's moved in without Sheldon realsing it. For what it's worth, I said "shippers from the other canon pairing", not "the shippers from the other canon pairing". I do realise that one of them doesn't speak for the whole group. It'd be pretty stupid of me to "bundle them all together" when I'm pissed at people for doing the same thing. I have many faults, but playing double standards isn't one of them. And they were few and far between being a procedural show. I hate shipper fights. I think if you like two people together rock on. As long as we all respect each other, what's the big deal?
