Green = Confident/courage

Orange = Lonely

Well I was close, lol. Love, hope, I'm happy with either one. I'm just so excited for the both of them, (letting their guards down) and looking forward to where this is going to lead in S7.

OMG.

The way Sheldon is looking straight at Amy in this pic....

I don't even care that they can fit an extra large pizza between them on that bed. This is the most intimate moment I've ever seen on TV. And it's a photo.

This episode is going to kill me...in a good way. :D

Warm up with some news:

http://cartermatt.com/57134/the-big-bang-theory-season-6-spoilers-how-will-sheldon-and-amy-evolve/

"Luckily for Amy, it appears as though there is an event coming up that could cause the couple’s relationship to evolve rather rapidly."

http://cartermatt.com/57369/the-big-bang-theory-season-6-spoilers-lets-talk-dungeons-dragons/

"Molaro promises that there will be a watershed moment for one of the characters during the episode that changes the way in which we perceive them forever"

http://www.enstarz.com/articles/16577/20130419/big-bang-theory-season-6-spoilers-main-character-set-to-experience-life-changing-moment-details-video.htm

"To top it off, the EP gave his word that there would be a groundbreaking moment for one of the cast members during the highly anticipated episode that he said will forever change the audience's perception, according to Carter Matt."

------------------------------------------------------------------

I feel like we kind of glossed over how incredibly HUGE the above is. Molaro's statements indicate that TPTB view this episode as tantamount to "proof" that Sheldon is not an asexual being, and perhaps also that a physical relationship is no longer merely a possibility...but actually on the horizon.

NO TURNING BACK!!!

6.23 is even MORE significant given the writers' perception of the bedroom scene as "groundbreaking." They would not use such a strong word if they did not intend for what transpired between Sheldon and Amy to be viewed as serious and, maybe more importantly, permanent.

Guys?

It's happening. I mean it's really, really happening.

I'll let that sink in while I do my happy dance.

Yes, and they better not go back on this.  They need to keep moving forward even if at a snail pace.   This is encouraging.  It will prove Sheldon is not asexual, but Amy-sexual.  He does get turned on by her.   I am glad they are going to show that.

wow. For true? Awesome that there is code.

All Leonard gets is earthtones and muted shades. I'd notice alex and penny got blue and purple prints at times. So hope and love. Raj wears mustard yellow, not so good.

Is this universal or purely Sheldonian?

(and does a centre parting vs ponytail imply anything?)

eta. Genuine enquiry. Did not signal snark. Oh well.

Its good news about The Shamy. Huzzah!

Thanks for the pics!

I already couldn't wait for that ep, but now I guess I'll have to put myself into hybernation, and you guys have to wake me up when the moment is there=)

Anyway, I think it's gonna bee the best episode ever. There is so much intimacy. And all that's done, is really meaningful.

I hate to break the party but I think that cartermatt got his spoilers mixed up and that the last two quotes by Molaro actually refers to Raj in the finale.

Here's the context for the first quote:

Speaking of breakthroughs, Molaro says the finale will feature a huge one for a certain character – which is one of several character-driven moments in the show’s last episode of the season. “There is a watershed moment in the episode that we’re really excited about.” Source:  http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/04/17/supernatural-chicago-fire-big-bang-theory-ncis-find-out-whats-next-in-the-spoiler-room/

Here's the context for the second quote:

Aptly titled "The Bon Voyage Reaction," the CBS comedy's Season 6 finale finds Leonard mulling taking a job overseas. "This is a big decision for him," executive producer Steve Molaro says. "It's difficult given that he and Penny are in the best place, relationship-wise, they've ever been in." But it may be Sheldon who takes the news the hardest: He's both jealous of his roommate and scared to lose him. As for the rest of the group, "At least one of the characters will be having a major breakthrough," Molaro says. Source:  http://www.tvguide.com/PhotoGallery/Must-Watch-Finales-1063434/1063976

But Molaro does say this with regards to the Shamy:

“They have a scene toward the end which discusses that quite a bit and kind of goes right at their relationship and will it ever be physical or not,” previews exec producer Steven Molaro. “It is an incredible scene and I can’t wait for it to go on TV.”  Source: http://tvline.com/2013/04/16/true-blood-season-6-spoilers-death-ask-ausiello/

and another one:  “There is a fully incredible Sheldon-Amy scene at the end that I can’t wait to go on television,” executive producer Steve Molaro says.”Sheldon and Amy go right into the heart of that conversation and it’s weird and sweet and touching and amazing and [Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik] just did a breathtaking job." Wow...oops. :( That's a pretty big mix-up.

Thanks for setting us straight. The quotes you added (which I've seen before) are definitely not as exciting, but I'll take 'em.

This doesn't make me any less excited to see 6.23. :)

OH YEAH BABY *HAPPY DANCING* - Proof that Sheldon is sexual, and has desires toward Amy, so significant ep. so meaningful for them.

Even without the quotes, it's obvious they won't be going backwards. Between the Fish Guts, Cooper/Kripke, V-Day and now this one? The Shamy is never turning back.

I can finally see the photos properly! I had no computer all night and looking at them on the phone isn't the same thing. I don't know what gets me more excited, the Shamy sitting on his bed or the first three photos where they're all having so much fun together. That third one in particular gives me so many happy feelings with Shamy getting adorkably excited! They really need to get the girls involved more in the games, look at the bonding that's going on in the group there, it's so adorable. The only thing that ruins the scene is that damn green cardigan! It's my second least favorite after the horrible mustard one lol.

Re: the quotes. It is a bummer that they weren't about Sheldon, but I do agree I'd be very shocked if they went backwards after this episode. The level of intimacy reached is way too high to reset. I'm a bit surprised with Molaro's quotes about the finale though, maybe it will come across better on screen, but from the taping reports it doesn't sound like Penny or Sheldon are as affected by Leonard's departure as Molaro seems to imply. He might be overselling it a little.

Also, the shirt thing, I'm not sure. I think the colors only apply to Sheldon, but I tried to check if Mary Quigley did an interview or said it but all the online posts points it to IMDB and we're not even sure of the reliability of that. What I do know is that Mary Q does put their outfits into the mood of the character or with the scenario, and there are Entertainment Weekly video clips of her explaining their costume. There was a special about Howard's clothes though.

Who is this rubyanjel and what did she do to my jeanalice? :icon_eek:

:icon_lol:

Yeah...that watershed moment quote was included in an article about DnD but the context is the finale. It is definitely referring to Raj, and Molaro is definitely overselling Sheldon's reaction is particular by all accounts, unless he thinks that the fact that Sheldon didn't lock Leonard into a room in order to prevent him from leaving shows Sheldon's fondness for Leonard. :p

I thought that it was pretty clear in 6x14 that they intend to move Sheldon forward in the physical intimacy department at some point. It was like the writers flashing a "Warning: It's happening" sign. The follow up in 6x23 is great, but I still expect this to be a loooong, somewhat tedious journey that will have us banging our heads against the wall at times like what happened between 19 and 22. ;)

I don't think he's talking about L/P, I think he means Raj and his selective mutism ;)
