He really loves her enough to let her into his private space always, just like he didn't think anything about her sitting in his spot in the V-day episode. Yes, he did have four pillows on his bed at one time. I know they talked about Amy having a waterbed in 6.15 episode, but in the clip where she is in bed and Penny is on the phone yelling at her and Sheldon calls to warn her in 6.02, her bed was a normal bed. It definitely wasn't a waterbed. You could tell by the way she moved it was a normal bed. I am not sure why they suddenly said she had a waterbed in 6.15 episode. I keep vacillating on whether Sheldon would be more comfortable sleeping over at her place or having them share a sleepover at his when he finally decides to "share a bed" even if it is platonically. I know he would be most comfortable in his own bed, yet part of me thinks he might be more comfortable for "sleep-overs" at Amy's because of Leonard and Penny finding out they shared a bed, kind of thing. It will be interesting to see how the writers deal with all of that when they decide to cross that bridge. I really can't wait to see how they do deal with it. when I saw the comment about sleepovers it made me think of all the fan fics I've been reading and the ones where they do have sleepovers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And if I'm being a good young padawan, I think by Lio's shirt theorems the top layer does show the prominent emotion while the undershirt is the (surprise, surprise) underlying emotion. What I love with Mary is that there are times when she pairs Amy and Sheldon's colors on certain scenes. Like the "pun intended?" "what pun?" moment from Herb Garden Germination where they have blue as their color, the kissing from Agreement Dissection has Red, the Tiara moment when they have dark colors (brown, gray, black), the hug from Cooper-Kripke with Blue-purple, and other more instances. And in his bedroom she sits on his bed, and he don't mind that she just walked there, for him she is the most important. What she feels, that he wants to be there for her, comfort her and this intimate momet in his bedroom is not freaks him out. He shows that he can be real loving man to his woman. He was honest with her and he knew that when he tell her that he doesn't rule this out, there will be no turning back for them. There is no proof the waterbed has to be the one we saw in the 2nd episode. So if she has two beds at her home, Sheldon can choose, which one he wants to sleep in when the time comes. But from now on I believe he might want to sleep in the same bed which Amy sleeps too, maybe even because he wants to be close to her? He may want to try what it feels like to be in her embrace. The time will come when his curiosity increases, it overcomes his fears and he wants to experience her embrace. And I mean in romantic context, no boa constrictor or comforting/consoling hug, but in a romantic situation! Sheldon will want to get there, by his own will. And the romantic kiss.. It will come. And then you have Sheldon. His whole jaw is set in a firm line. He's not angered nor ashamed by Penny's words. If anything, he looks determined. He's not afraid. He's not belittled. silverangel Posted April 24, 2013 Share Posted April 24, 2013 I think Molaro oversold the finale, undersold what was happening in the Shamy story (which I would rather they undersell than oversell) and am fairly certain they oversold the Raj story as well because I am betting anything we are going to see he is only "partially cured" and can only speak to those girls he is already comfortable with, but time will tell. On another note, Jim is co-staring in another Zach Braff film (for those who missed the info in his thread) and here is a clip about it. They are raising funds to fund the film and get it sold but Jim can be my pool boy anytime! LOL! So part of me feels that he might want to practice that there first as well. You are right, we always assumed her to have a one-bedroom apartment, but it could be that she actually is in a two-bedroom unit and we were just unaware of it. That might be an interesting thing to learn down the road. Silver, I think his joke about being the sexy pool boy is in relation to their last project they did together called Garden State...he was a "sexy pool boy" in a scene there (where he is in the pool). LOL I could be wrong, but I think it was a joking reference to that. Lost, I think Amy is clearly disturbed in the photo..she looks like she is frowning slightly and yes that she isn't comfortable...more uncomfortable and sad than anything. Sheldon looks not only determined but part of me thinks he looks like he is slightly holding back a laugh. He definitely does not look upset at all, but more like he was waiting for her answer and actually looked willing to play the game right there with everyone. I am glad they kept it for the bedroom...it was far better and he is probably happier about it as well in hind sight. By the way, I hate that green sweater. It is so bulky and unbecoming. LOL! I think he's just kind of reading her reaction, and maybe understanding that she's immediately uncomfortable at the idea. But it's hard to say, because this is a still from a moment that could be very fleeting. If we didn't know about the scene that follows, how would we interpret his expression? Most waterbags used to be like a big bag full of water, but nowadays you'll find that they are mostly filled with several tubes of water, making them a little more firm and stable. As for the tee-shirt colors - the fact he's wearing black underneath is very telling. To me it's come to mean he's in an emotional state which is hidden, or with which he hasn't come to terms yet. The deep blue is definitely hope - the desire for something wished for to happen, to go well. Hard to analyze things without seeing the scene yet, but it's interesting to me that these colors are pretty dark, especially together, the overall impression to me is depth, things which are deep and somewhat dark in feeling, emotions with more weight than normal, and not necessarily bad, as the blue is also very bright, but more serious and not light-hearted. And by the way, the picture of Jim in the pool is the best thing ever. Golly. Anyway....as far as his facial expression in the pictures, there's something both penetrating and tentative about it all. He has such a hard time reading anyone's feelings and expressions, even hers, but he tries. He has a nagging feeling that there's something a little explosive going on and she might be upset, but because Sheldon doesn't feel shame, particularly over normal bodily functions and even sex (shame is not his problem with it), he's not embarrassed at all, but he's aware that this one might be a hot topic. I don't think he knows quite how to respond here, so he looks to Amy so he can try to take his cue from her.
