silverangel Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Also the scene in Pennys bedroom he looked really sad, though that could be because of the nature of the scene and him being worried that penny was going to dump leonard Yes it was so sweet when he said: "Penny, please don't hurt my friend" It was so touching, his sad face, and all the time he was concern about Leonard. It was impressive when he tried to keep secret. Whole this scene in their apartment, from that scene when Sheldon said: I think I might have tartar buildup", and that scene when Sheldon tried find the way to tell some how to Leonard, that Penny is trying to broke up with him, and he found a way to said it using metaphore about Transformers, whole that scene shows how special their friendship is. Despite of that, that Sheldon was maybe little annoying to Leonard when he making noises, checking the tartar, Leonard was concern about Sheldon and said that he was going to take him to the dentist. Sheldon was worried about Leonard that Penny will hurt him and tried to find a way to tell him that. It was so adorable, and their friendship is special and so strong. Oh wow he will be missed little budy.
koops Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 For those who don't check the Mayim thread, here's what she said in a recent interview about S7 and Shamy. Glad we're all on the same page On where she hopes to see Amy and Sheldon’s relationship go next on The Big Bang Theory.“I’d like to see them actually touching. They’ve touched only accidentally and briefly. I think that the virtual consummation of their relationship was really, really beautiful, and I think it showed how there’s not just one way to go about any relationship, but specifically Amy and Sheldon. Obviously I’m not a writer. I’m a performer, so whatever I’m asked to do is what I’m happy to do. But I love how slow and gentle this year was in terms of the development of Amy and Sheldon’s characters. That’s sort of the fun of our show—we don’t have to use every emotional plot every week, and there may be weeks into the next season that we touch on their relationship again. ”
rubyanjel Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Finally, Mayim is getting more relaxed and not holding back, being worried about what the other fans who doesn't want Sheldon to move on from his "old" identity would say. Yes to more touching! (like my icon! SHELDON, JUST REACH OUT ALREADY!)

I know this is a tad off-topic but sorta refers to your new icon, I just went on your tumblr Ruby and saw the pics :D so lovely!! Even if there was only a tiny bit of Majim I still died a little . Even if there was only a tiny bit of Majim I still died a little . Thanks for sharing!! I like to credit stardust because it was from her that I saw the link when I serendipitously clicked on the dashboard icon and then freaked out for ten minutes when i saw the pictures. I love that MaJim had a moment. And now to actually read the LA Times article instead of posting the pics on tumblr over and over again. My favorite quote so far was about both of them being in love with Sheldon, as said by our honorary Shamy Shipper, Simon Helberg. ETA: OMG my siggy and my icon... they're the same clothes and accessory. O.O What an odd struck of fate. Razberrypie Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Haha, well thank you to Stardust for finding that awesome article . I loved that quote too, every time Simon interjects with anything I just smile :D Here's LA times article for everyone for convenience : http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/envelope/tv/la-et-st-big-bang-discuss-future-season-6-20130606,0,2389727.story?page=1. silverangel Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 This is also from article which stardust posted on Mayim's thread it is so true and I have to quote this: "What we can all learn from Amy is that when you have a goal in mind, keep at it. This persistence and determination may pay off for you in the end, as long as you stick with it. And if you have roadblocks preventing you to achieve what you want in life, move somewhere else." This is one of the reasons why we love Amy so much...She has her goal, she is patient like saint, he is forgiving, she is just perfect. Thank you stardust for those articles. silverangel Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 About that interview The Big bang Theory at Griffith Observatory ....They've been asked if they watched TBBT and Jim said: I normally change the channel if I see it but, recently, I watched it until the end and it was really fun. It was long enough ago that things had changed. (Turning to Mayim) It was the one where you wanted sex ... Mayim: The one? Jim: No, we were really going to give it to you that episode. So I call, looking for Penny's ex-lover, Zack, and I ask: "Are you the Zack that used to have coitus with Penny?" And he answers, "Coitus?" And I reply, "It means sexual intercourse. And I have the feeling I found the right Zack." And this they said about D&D And then on the other side of the emotional spectrum, we saw Sheldon and Amy progress in their relationship too, even if it came through the magic of Dungeons & Dragons. Jim: Well, he's engaging with Amy at a sexual level but only through a medium he understands and is comfortable with. The only thing he's literally putting up for risk is what the roll of the dice says. Mayim: It's the most explicit we've ever been. The fun thing about our characters is that they're both missing the filter for social propriety. It's sweet. Jim: It's funny for two characters who have such an odd way of talking to the rest of the world, they actually communicate a tremendous amount in their relationship. Especially this season, there are so many episodes where we are working things out and actually get to a resolution. Simon: Because there's no filter. Mayim: That's right. (To Parsons) I pretend to be sick. You spank me. Jim: It's healthy in its own twisted way. We have a contract for god's sake! We know where we're coming from. Mayim: Of these relationships, this is really "meet someone where they're at." Amy meets Sheldon exactly where he's at. There are those who think she could do better.( ) Mayim: She thinks the sun rises and sets on this brilliant man. Jim: And she's right. Simon: They do share their love for Sheldon. And how not to love them... One of many reasons why we love Shamy so much is that these two special and lovely people playing them...Jim and Mayim

Guest DroneInTheSun Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 It's funny for two characters who have such an odd way of talking to the rest of the world, they actually communicate a tremendous amount in their relationship. Especially this season, there are so many episodes where we are working things out and actually get to a resolution. I especially like this quote because it is so very true. Late S6 made us angry and sometimes doubt the writers, but in the end I think they know that the Shamy is perhaps the most well-balanced couple they have on this show. They literally are each other's exception to every single one of the rules they set for themselves from a very young age, and they know each other in a way no one will ever come close to. They see the world with the same eyes, and more often than not, it really boils down to the Shamy against the world.

rubyanjel Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Ah. That. From my POV, it was referring to the characters they're playing. Like, if you are going to ask me to rewrite it, it would be like, "Jim and Mayim's characters have a growing relationship on the show", more like the use of the possessive. For example, "The bag of Charlie" would be "Charlie's bag". But what do I know? I'm just a lovable foreigner.

rubyanjel Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 (edited) Word of advice, if you're going to express your disappointment, you do not go telling a showrunner how to run his sitcom especially over something he's been doing for six years and complain about another showrunner just because you think it's not in favor of what you like. It's like you're rubbing it in his face that his decisions for HIS OWN SHOW are incorrect. For the record, Bill Prady ISN'T responsible for the fluffy couple and relationship things that happens in the show. He said so himself, it's Molaro's business. Also, remember, they're not Gods. They're humans too. They have patience and once it runs out, no more responses to fans. We all love Shamy but for Pete's ass' sake, don't go crazy like those Shenny shippers who kept on whining and spamming the writers and the other actors and staff. It's not like Sheldon and Amy are the only freaking characters in this effing show. I am not directing this to any particular person but that it's only just going to make people generalize us more and prove that we "all" only care about Shamy, which obviously isn't the case. Well, if that IS the case for you, then please speak for yourself. Edited June 7, 2013 by rubyanjel
