He whipped out 2000 bucks to Alex for her to go buy a present for Amy. LOL! 2000 bucks! I wasn't that far off when I said he'd buy her an apartment. haha. He wants a unique gift for her, but I think that another gift would be pleased for her... maybe a kiss. She has so much feelings for him that the fackt that he has something for her makes her happy. It sounds very shamy and i think the writers are smart to drag it out. makes it more believable. sheldon has made big strides this season... and hey, there's always the season finale! And, Amy is a smart girl... no pressure. It will probably loosen Sheldon up even more in the future... maybe bring him back to flirting more with her like he did in season 4. They really gave each other the perfect gift since what both needed was reassurance, reassurance about different things but reassurance that is, and they got it!! It’s so them and so meaningful!! They always meet halfway. How much respect and understanding is there in this relationship??!! Wow!! Moreover, I for one find Sheldon’s gift particularly romantic. To respond to Spook’s question, I so would prefer this kind of gesture to jewelry!! Also, my emergency contact is a friend, but I look forward to the day when I will have that special someone to include!! And a hug?? Sometimes they mean more than a kiss!!
