I am very excited now to see the next two episode knowing what they are leading up too. And I am so glad now the we didn't get a cliché kiss from Sheldon as this was so much better. I mean, much more meaningful that any other gift. When then ICE contact was mentioned I thought it was going to be him adding her as the ICE contact in his phone. Monique Yup, totally agree. I think it would have been nice to have him offer a cuddle while they watch Star Trek or something, but I actually have to say that a kiss would have probably ruined this, as weird as it may sound. The other thing is, I feel that Amy is being SO good to him right now that it's kind of all piling up and something is bound to happen at some point this season because, imo, there's only so long he can go on not initiating anything before it becomes unrealistic, even for Sheldon. No matter how "unusual" they may be, I'm pretty confident that by the end Shamy will be the most rock solid relationship of the entire group. They just "get" each other, ya know? koops Posted January 23, 2013 Share Posted January 23, 2013 The rest of the season, with all these breaks, is going to go by so slowly. It's going to be torture. I really don't know what to expect with these two. One week I'm hit with stuff I didn't even imagine possible (Sheldon admitting sex is a possibility), the next week I'm convinced something is happening and instead get something completely different. It's really hard to foresee where they are planning to take them over the next 8 episodes. How much is too much and how much is too little. Bless you for your efforts. b ) I feel like a huge ball of warm fuzzies right now. Amy, with her gift, reassuring him that she understands his awkwardness and she's willing to share his geekery.. Sheldon, with his gift, reassuring her that she means so much to him. He has her name on call in a freaking EMPLOYMENT FORM. And how happy they make each other with their gestures.. and the hug, and Sheldon patting her knee. Forget the kiss, I could have thought for a year and never thought of anything so perfect. It's better than the Gift of the Magi. This is going to be the most beautiful story ever.. just reading of it made me cry when Amy did. And then the tag made me laugh so hard. Of course that's what would happen, it's Sheldon. I'm so grateful to the writers for coming up with this! I LOVE that they are walking up the stairs together, its basically she picking him up from work and them just talking about their day and typical Shamy talk...then we assume they go into the apt to talk about the plans and have tea 2. If I had an ASSISTANT I WOULD NEVER BE CAUGHT IN A STORE BUYING GIFTS. I never know what to buy even if its for someone special...so I LOVE that he basically told Alex all about his girl and everytime he says 'his girlfriend' is a win in my book. 3. I LOVE the critiques of the gifts and why they wouldn't be right for his girl. 4. The apartment scene. Just totally and completely SHAMY. Just so much them. He was willing do something he doesn't really enjoy, she takes the pressure off him and does something she doesn't really like and he totally rocks her world by giving her EC form. Like.
