koops Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I hate musicals. I just cannot watch something where the characters randomly burst into songs. What is it? A Disney movie? lol. I really hope they never do one for BBT. Get the characters to sing karaoke, serenade, start their own band, whatever if you want them to sing but please please please no musicals. bostrich Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I'm going to watch 2.5 men tonight just to see how they pull it off. I'd prefer BBT had a special themed episode rather than a musical. Perhaps like Family Guy did Star Wars with Blue Harvest and Something, Something Dark Side? I loved them. Maybe all of them as characters on board the enterprise? It could work as another Leonard dream. 150th? 200th special?
koops Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I LOVE the Family Guy Star Wars! Oh if they did something like that as a dream it would be awesome.

BillF63 Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I JUST SAW THE EPISODE AND IT IS FREAKING HILARIOUS!!!! Sorry to shout. But as a big Star Trek fan this was great. I know there have been those who have complained the show has drifted from its nerd roots. But in this episode it was all gloriously front and center! JoeSal90 Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Grade: A- Another great episode and very hilarious episode here, I really loved the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" costumes the guys wore in this episode, the girls at the comic book store and reading comic books, and Sheldon's hacked GPS system that would be very awesome if Jim Parsons and the other cast were to actually do voices for the actual TomTom's GPS devices. BazingaFan Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I am almost speechless. This may be my favorite episode of the whole freaking series. I will comment more after watching it again, but want to make a note right now that even my husband turned to me in shock during the scene with sheldon in the diner. Brilliant acting and I think the most important development ever in his character.

Europa Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Oh my, this is one of the best episodes ever! Hilarious! Loved everything about their costumes - the picture-taking had me laughing so hard, especially "Charlie's Angels" - Sheldon in the diner?! wow - and the girls! Arguing about comics! I love it! Jim Ward Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 OMG, Sheldn was wrong tonight on this episode. There are not 4 state capitals that are not connected to the interstate system, there are 5. Anyone catch that?
Jim Ward Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 The costumes were amazing, my wife was shocked at the likenesses.

iTz Lotus Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Great episode! One of my top 5 in the series so far. Everyone was great and it was nice to see the girls finally take an interest in comic books. Grade A episode
tmp Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I'm with you guys. Words cannot express how much I love love love this episode. The guys looked remarkably like the TNG characters and it was great seeing them let their geek flag fly. The scene in the guys' apartment with the girls was poetic--and Amy in Sheldon's spot just reinforces their connection. My favorite part was the last scene; it was so touching. Despite the serious elements and clear character development, it was still hilarious. Acting was perfect throughout. Definitely one of my favorite episodes of the series. Guest I'm not dead Cheryl Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 LOVED THE EPISODE. there was not a single since I didn't love. I WANT THIS EPISODE ALL OVER MY BODY FOREVER. Both the boys & the girls were flawless and I loved that it wasn't all about laughs. Sheldon's speech at the diner was amazing. Emmy material for Jim, honestly. SRAM Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I really hope they just don't drop this thing with the comic books. I would die laughing if Leonard told Penny he was going to the comic book store, with the guys, and she casually tells him to pick her up the latest Thor.
