Very funny episode. :icon_lol:  I kept rewinding the part where the guys were taking pictures and posing in their Their costumes, Sheldon's pose was THE BEST!! lol and Howard and Leonard's dancing had me ROTFL

It was nice to see Stuart get some funny lines though I wonder why all other nerds at comic book store were even there shouldn't they all have been going to the Comic Con in Bakersfield too...they must not be as dedicated NERDS as our boys are :p

Amy, Bernadette and Penny arguing over Thor's Hammer was so brillant and makes me wonder if it was a nod to this past 2012 comic con where a fan asked whole cast if Magneto could lift Thor's hammer and only Mayim new the answer no one else could really guess it was hysterical and I think guy was even dressed as Spiderman.  Haha nice to see writers pulling stories based off real life.  I wonder what  story they'll come up with based on their recent trip to People's Choice Awards or really all award shows they will likely be attending this season.  Can't wait!

I got be honest I dont really read comic books either, but I love Harry Potter so I thought the wands vs. hammers joke Amy made was just AWESOME!!  I know the cast is right near WB lot where HP museum is maybe they can do an episode where they go visit it and get locked inside and SHeldon imagines all the stuff coming to life.

Sheldon was so adorable and made me go awww.. :( when he said he wanted to go home and that he felt like an idiot...how dare those jerks made them feel that way. THEY ARE GENIUSES!!

Love the ending with the two theifs in the car lol reminded of episode where two Asian nerd kids who were just like Leonard and Sheldon but were hanging out in some basement.  lol

Anyway loved it hope the ratings for it are good.   Oh and please someone post a pic of the guys doing their Charlie's Angel's pose I want put that one on a T-shirt oh and a .gif of them dancing to Raj's beat. lol

This was AMAZING!!!! OH MY GOD!!! I don't even know where to start or I'll end up quoting the whole episode! There was not one thing I didn't like. Funny, nerdy, symbolic, meaningful. They combined humor and character development for all 7 so well. Goodness me, amazing.

eta: Last week I said Sheldon was turning into Amy with all his inappropriate, gross, no-filter sex talk. This week, it's the other way around. When she said "If you're comparing hammers to wands I can't take you seriously" I was like LOL! I don't know why that line was just so Sheldon.

"They spend hours arguing about things that don't even exist!"

*looks around the forums sheepishly*

Watched this episode this afternoon and you know when I mentioned that I was a little concerned about Sheldon's speech, well I stand corrected.  I liked this episode a lot, actually I would even go on to say that it would be one of my favourites so far this season.

I haven't even watched it yet, and just by your reactions and the reviews and what I recall from the taping report, I'm already crying. Literally. Crying. ESPECIALLY with the picture of the girls sitting with Chinese food and comic-books, Amy on Sheldon's spot. I can't think of anything more - beautiful.

Also, I'm sorry but when Leonard wears glasses with that outfit he looks so much like a Skinner-mini me from XF. Phanta, agree with me. LOL.

I loved that episode! As a big Star Trek TNG fan it was a big fest! They all looked great: Sheldon as Data, Leonard as Captain Picard, Raj as Mr Worf and Howard as a borg drone. I loved the girls in the comic store and the arguing about Thor!

And Sheldons voice on the GPS I loved it! I want that too!

I love to go to conventions too so I totally agreed with the guys that they´re so into it! (I don`t go there in costume but maybe one day ...)

I´ve never read a comic book but whatever....loved it that the girls did it and that they sat around in the apartment from Leonard & Sheldon surrounded by comic books.

I hope they do more episodes like this!

I loved the car thieves!

I really enjoyed this episode. Love sheldon posing on the ground like that found it so sexy lol.

The only thing I would have loved to see what the boys  said to the girls after the went into the apartment and what the girls reactions where.

My mind sort of kept going with that trajectory, and I imagined that the girls would be so involved in their discussion that they wouldn't notice how disheveled the guys were and instead would pull them in to settle the "dispute".

Question:  was I the only one who looked up which state capitals aren't served by the interstate system?  BTW, internet says it's 5 but I knew they hadn't gotten it wrong; Prady tweeted that one of the 5 has now been connected to the interstate.

I've been thinking more and more about what sheldon said in the diner... it makes me sad that he was affected by those mean people; but he has given us hints before that the bullies from his childhood bothered him -- but this is the first time he expressed it with sadness instead of resentment and anger.

The way that jim acted it was perfect.  It may be the first time in the whole series that the audience will genuinely feel this sorry for him -- in the past, he would always make a rude comment or something afterward to bring us back, but not this time.

The ending was brilliant.  Hearing the girls inside the apartment brought the guys back to themselves again, and made them feel better about what had happened.  I am glad they did this -- it helped to see sheldon going back to his geekness, showing that he wasn't sad anymore, and was okay.

Can't wait to watch it again -- especially the part where they were "dancing" in their costumes.  Seriously, I want to see that again in a future episode!

P.S. --- and I want to add--- every single character's delivery in this episode was perfect.  Everyone was in character and nothing seemed out of place.  It just shows what every actor can do with an episode that is written so well.

I found myself make an audible "awwwwwwwww" during that scene in the roadhouse where the boys just wanted to go home.

I could so relate to that feeling on so many levels.

Brilliant acting from the boys combined with well written dialogue made for a perfect scene.

The girl's story arc was ok, but the boys nailed it this week. Brilliant.

Is anyone aware of when Kripke will be making a more regular appearance?

Missing him right now.

I keep seeing folks say that Amy was in Sheldon's spot, but was she really? I thought she was sitting on the floor in front of his spot...

I really appreciated the effort the made by the writers to tell two actual stories in this episode :)

The girls story was an excellent idea..the way they went from concluding that the guys are foolish for getting so involved with those comic books and superheroes to actually having a big argument about Thor.... this transformation undermined their own disinterests........ this part had some pretty good zingers in it....

The Guys posing for the photos was really the highlight of the episode for me :) ...... I don't think there is anyone that could not enjoy the silliness in display :p

I liked Sheldon's idea that they were finally living out their fantasy of being in a star-trek like scenario...but then they everyone including Sheldon were undermined.....and had given up on that idea....later Sheldon in restaurant says that he feels silly and wants to go home which was an extraordinary moment..but it felt like it did'nt develop from anything....I'm sure that he was tired and miserable but did'nt feel like the moment it could have been.....instead we were meant to laugh with the other people in the restaurant who thought our guys were freaks....this type comedy is just wrong because these are our characters.... we have most of the series dedicated to support the guys love for comic stuff....so why would I laugh at simple jokes about how silly they look to the outsiders...

The conclusion was good but it could have been a lot better.... cause after hearing the girls arguing about Thor ,  Sheldon suggests that it is another mission they need to undertake and all the guys get wrapped up in role playing......I thought it would have been a lovely closure moment if they actually had a chance to play star-trek earlier in the episode but were denied...but they never did...so it kind of felt like a false call-back.....

this was pretty good but it could have been wonderful

I would have liked the tag scene if Sheldon's voice on the GPS would have got some revenge on the thiefs who stole the car...but them being delighted with the GPS was kind of lame....

She is sitting on the edge of the cushion because she has a box of comics behind her. But yeah, they're all sitting in their SO's usual spots, or, in Bernadette's case, the floor, where Howard always sits :p
