Sheldon Cooper

I actually see what you mean... In a way.

His careful and methodical way of doing certain things is a small parallel at least...

But of course they're opposites on the IQ spectrum!

Then again Forrest Gump could be an idiot savant... fooling us all.

Imo Forrest Gump originally was a parody of the wisdom of the masses, Sheldon is something of a parody of the intelligentsia. The know-nothings vs the know-it-alls. Both are solitary figures. Gump ends up with everything material, but doesn't care about it. Sheldon has few material wants, but he intensely covets those few things. Gump wanted love but couldn't have it, Sheldon has the opportunity for love, but is having trouble recognising that its something he might want.

They are alike in that they are extreme, I guess.

Yesterday I was watching family Guy, and sometimes they have a dig at other programmes. Peter was stealing Carter's TV and said well maybe TBBT will be funny on this, because its never made me laugh. Remember when Peter started his own religion based on the Fonz, maybe in the future there will be the church of Sheldon. Members have to wash their hands 100 times in the font on entry. Pray with their fingers on their temples, you get the idea!

Okay again I say, DO NOT READ THIS! (Last quotes from Look Me In The Eye): 'I believe there is a continuum from autism to Asperger's to normal. At one extreme, you have children who are turned completely inward at birth. At the other end of the spectrum, you have kids who are turned completely outward. They have scarcely any ability to be introspective or to perform difficult mental calculations. And in the middle you have people like me. Aspergians can focus our minds extremely sharply, and those of us who cultivate this gift are sometimes called savants.' (The child turns inwards and disassociates from people, to protect itself), 'luckily the Asperger's isolated me from the worst of the insanity'(his parents at war!). 'humour and sarcasm often go right over my head', 'I was anxious and jumpy', (chapter 29 is titled) 'My Life As A Train'; 'I have always liked trains', 'machines were never mean to me'. 'I even looked pretty normal in a geek sort of way. But my behavioural odditities had hidden those qualities from others'. 'Asperger's is not a disease. It's a way of being'. FIN.

Since you keep going on again and again and again about asperbers behaps you should go to some forum dedicated to it.  It has nothing to do with TBBT.

Huh?  What oh what does some of these posts have to do with Sheldon Cooper, his character, or whatever?

Come on Kasey, keep up. It's the list of Sheldon's favourite catwomen he made while not sleeping at Howard's!

Kind of like "We don't care if they're fictional characters. We want them to have sex and fall in love and live happily ever after!"

Definitely a job for an army of neuroscientific researchers.
