Razberrypie
Is anyone French/knows French here? Just wanting to know how he did with the few words he spoke. I know nothing beyond bonjour. I speak a little . Hello, goodbye and good evening all present and correct, lol . He's off to a good start!
Convict13
Yes, he was charming, and I love how he spoke about Mayim, "she play Blossom and the she became smart" He really admires her. And Kimmel asked him, that frequently asked question: did he understands a science. He was so nice that he answer the question, but I think he is already tired of this question. Yes but he always fails to mention that he has a Master's degree (I know, doesn't eveyone!) but that would certainly have taken a bit of brains and work on his behalf oh and Kunal too has a Masters. Convict13
Cool. Thanks for the update. German car too. He seems to have a good taste in cars ..... although the colour could be discussed We bought a new car a couple of years ago, Subaru. Anyway we said any colour but white (white is technically not a colour) guess what "colour" our car is - yep white!
Lissie
Thanks Shamynatress for the link much much appreciated. Jim will do fine in France even if he doesn't speak the language, I've been twice and I have to say that French people were incredibly helpful and lovely, and understanding if you cannot speak French well, I did try to speak the language as best as I could, but there was always something that comes up that you just don't know what to say. I do hope he realises that TBBT is actually very very popular in France, which would mean that if he is hoping to wander the streets of Paris with Todd (on their honeymoon?) that he might actually get recognised. Let me tell you that French people is very helpful and lovely if they can see you are trying at least little bit to comunicate in French language, BUT, if you go there and only speak English with them then you will see lot of bad faces, they hate this. It is good Jim is trying to learn the language little bit
Lissie
I don't treat him like a piece of meat, that he is a handsome and sexy, and you can read comments like that on this tread, it does not mean that nothing else matters to me, because I can only speak for myself. Read my previous comments, and besides, I love him for everything, for the beauty of his soul, and for his attitude in life, for his passion to acting and for a lot of things. So don't tell me I tread him that way. I can't write a poems about someone who is a piece of meat for me. What's your problem, relax and enjoy this forum because someone create it for fun. We all love him and I'm sure that every girl, to who your comment was addressed will agree with me. That is the last thing that we think about Jim. Have we scandalized you? Hmm, I think Adorkablyme is only joking us

Lissie
Is anyone French/knows French here? Just wanting to know how he did with the few words he spoke. I know nothing beyond bonjour. He spoke them very well But those words are only greetings The Spanish words were very well too, even he said only one sentence and repeated it once more time. Vero
I speak French and I can guarantee you he said these three words perfectly. But when he said at the end Vive le Jim, that means nothing
phantagrae
Wouldn't it be funny if you happened to be working on Rosetta French and did one of those online sessions only to realize that one of your fellow students was Jim Parsons? I mean, if you knew the show or had seen him on talk shows you might recognize his voice, even if he were speaking French. I have a friend who works for the US Foreign Service and when he was applying he had to pass a converstional French test (because he listed French as his additional language). He didn't do well the first time he applied and he ended up spending a summer in Paris to try to strengthen his French skills. I'd love to see Jim spend some time in France and maybe really learn the language. I think I'd love to hear him speaking French...

I mean, if you knew the show or had seen him on talk shows you might recognize his voice, even if he were speaking French. You're making me want to do Rosetta's French course just for this remote possibility. Though from what Jim said, who knows if he'll ever participate in an online session! It is good Jim is trying to learn the language little bit I have the same experience. I went to Paris once without knowing French. I would love to hear him speak French. My husband, for some reason, feels that Jim comes across as a bit French, with the sort of gentle sophistication and delicate appearance he has. Definitely not Texan. (I apologize for the racial stereotyping, just quoting my husband).
silverangel
Yes I would love to hear him speak French too. This language is so sensual and combined with his voice is like music to my ears. I really like Spanish language and I think to start learning it. Edited March 2, 2013 by silverangelD

I heard so many good things about the play so I'm excited to see the movie version.
