Thank you so much for this!! I have been waiting to see this part of the interview. He is so lovely man.  I envy Mayim and Todd, I really do.

Silver, thank you so much. I have been dying to see this moment on his interview, after hearing about it. I'm nearly crying now myself.. he's such a genuine, heartfelt person.

Of course they're right. Everything about Jim is right. I meant big hands in a good way, if that makes sense. Long and graceful. :icon_redface:

Oh  thank you for your warm words, you really make me happy with that posts.

Like I said Todd is the luckiest man on earth...and Mayim the luckiest woman.. That moment is special for me too because I knew when I heard about it that isn't possible for me to watch all the interview.

And yeah Pomita everything in him is so right, his eyes like a  blue sky  his lips  so jucy and kissable, his heart full of love and golden soul, and those hands and long beautiful fingers, :icon_redface:   like someone playing a piano must have delicate and agile fingers :icon_redface::icon_redface: mmm oh sigh

My plesure. I love this 0:52 seconds and I really cry when I saw it. Imagine how few men is going to react like that while talking about his nephew. And it's not his child.

I think that he has lovely, and shapely feet

Well, I think we never saw his feet bared/ without shoes....even when he was in underwear he was wearing socks and shoes, right?

Do you remember this interview with Jim in The Paley center,  when he get emotional and cry when he talked about his nephew then you must watch this. It's only 0:52 but very sweet and movable moment.

This is link to the side on tumblr where you can find it and watch. It's worth to do it and watch. Trust me. When I saw and heard him as he got emotional and cried,  I was so moved and I had tears in my eyes,  oh Jim...   good Lord,  so sweet, and it melts my heart.

I hope that link is going to work.

This video is not very clear for me. Could you tell me please WHY he feels so emotional? I cannot understand very much :(

In that Stand Up To Cancer video ("Its up to you, It's up to me..." etc.) where he's changing costumes a million times, there's that lovely moment when he's wearing that blue bathing suit (and dancing) and his big long bare feet are on full display. :D

I think he was touched by his nephew's reaction to meeting the muppet characters. He mentioned it in an interview with Letterman and how wonderful it was to see how he interacted with the muppets.

He said that he and mother and sister were worried at the last minute that the little boy might get a little freaked out in seeing the puppeteers, but how he actually looked and talked directly to the muppet characters themselves. He didn't get emotional in the Letterman interview, but you could tell how much it meant to him.

When he were doing sesame street segment he had bring with him his 4 years old nephew, and his nephew were so joyful and so overwhelmed with joy, and he didn't treat them as a puppet for him they were his friends and when Jim saw this this was so emotional moment for him , that when he talked about it in that interview he got so emotional and started to cry, because this feeling was so strong then... perfect man...awww so sweet

Also, I think he was asked about the good things that come with being a well-known actor, and in that context he talked of how it enables him to do nice things for his family, which he wouldn't be able to do otherwise, like arranging a Sesame Street visit for his nephew. So it was the joy of doing that for the child and seeing how happy it made him, that overwhelmed him. It's like he was so delighted because he could gift a car to his sister (he talked about it on Ellen).

It's just beautiful. He's such a lovely person.

Thank you girls :)  I think this is the type of man who should have a sun/daughter one day...

I think too he is enjoying a lot to be famous and that is so good. He deserve all the happiness because he makes us so happy too.

I'm sure all the stars are overjoyed to buy things for their families. Not just Jim. I'm sure Johnny gets an much joy buying for the people he loves. As they probably all do, they are all lovely people.

I'm sure they do. But that's for their respective threads. :)

Yes, but we were discussing a specific moment and a specific quote/story from Jim where he was discussing what he considered one of the good things about his jobs.

I'm sure that if Johnny or any if the others were asked the same question they would have similar responses, but since this is the Jim thread, we are discussing what Jim said.

Really liked the jimmy Kimmel interview he did the other day, just got round to watching it! Very short interview though I thought

He mentioned about having a small gathering for his birthday and flying his mother over so thats nice, wonder whether he will invite his castmate friends?

I doubt it.

I doubt it.

I think it depends on his definition of a "small gathering".

Very small would be Todd, Jim's mother, and who else?  A handful of close friends?

Or small could mean Todd, Jim's mother, and the cast members, which would amount to maybe 10 people, which some might consider small.

I don't think he'd have a party on the set with all the crew members.

Well I was reacting to something entirely different. Talk of Jim and fatherhood.

Saying that Jim would make a great father doesn't have to mean that the others wouldn't, right? In fact Simon already is one. :)

Way off base. Even if Jim is good with his nephew doesn't mean he wants kids, we don't know! so I don't think we can say he should.
