Way off base. Even if Jim is good with his nephew doesn't mean he wants kids, we don't know! so I don't think we can say he should.

I think that he doesn't want to have kids because I read in some article in internet  that after receiveing golden globe he propose to Todd and they discuss of gettinng maried but when Todd said about adopted kids Jim wasn't enthusiast, but I don't know if it's true, or maybe some bulshit.

Regardless of this, I think that he could be great father because when he react in that emotional way on his nephew and when he said in some interview "I love you mother" and he's not afraid of showing feeling to this family in front of an audience.  I saw Martha Steward show and he was there with his mother and I was something like: What the hell is he doing there , but he was with his mother there, and he did something for her with Martha some big flower pot very beautiful. It's little digression but I want to show that he isn't some selfish man who thinks of his convenience and he's too lazy

He is full of love, and he has predispositions and a lot of place in his heart, but I think that he might not be fan of having kids because of his career, he is very busy man, and I think that this is a very responsible decision and providing for maturity. It's easy have children but you have to spend your time, and sometimes do sacrifice for them. And it's not is a question of convenience, but maturity and  I do not know what are his views on having children by homosexual couples.

It's just my opinion, that's it.

I think this article was bullshit.

BUT I remember him reacting on the question if there should be babies on the show with something like :"Dear god NO!!!!!"

Well that does not say anything about him wanting kids or not, but it just cracked me up!  :icon_razz:

:icon_mrgreen: Yeah I think that too, it was  bulshit, :icon_lol:  I just wrote it as a curosity ;)

I remember that too, he was so far away of this thoughts of having kids on TBBT :icon_cheesygrin:  It cracked me too :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

I think we said he would be a good father if he chooses to be one, not that he 'should'. He may well not want to have kids for a myriad other reasons.  And I still don't see how Johnny and the others enter into this discussion.

At least it's a good thing he doesn't want kids on the show. :)

Thank you girls :)  I think this is the type of man who should have a sun/daughter one day...

This ^.

I don't object to anyone saying Jim would make a good father, maybe he would but whether he should is up to him. Not all gay couples want children but it doesn't mean they don't contribute to their own families in other ways.

Hmm, I can see you are putting in a serious way my sentence... :)   I didn´t mean that Jim should have/must have... I said: "this is the type of man ..." Was only a thought, like you know, when you talk in loud voice some idea coming to your mind. I meant: he would really be a lovely father if he choose to be one. But don´t means he must be. It is up to him and I think he can have very happy life without any Children...or with them. Who knows?

And I only hope hope hope kids will not come to the show. :icon_rolleyes:

Thanks, that's a sweet interview. Nice to hear some little tidbits about him, and his pre-TBBT life.. I especially liked 'nothing can duplicate being in your own metal bubble with your own music' (I agree) and 'when I was flown out to L.A. to audition for several pilots, I was shocked and I was frightened, but most important, I was dirt-poor'.

Moonbase - yes, as Lissie says, I don't think she meant any kind of policing by her statement. :)

I admire him for that he can admit that he was poor and had  a lot  and very different kind of work, and that TBBT has change his life and even after that, he's so modest and decent, and so not Hollywod. And he tries to do his project with Todd and we could see him on Brodway so.... perfect man...

It is. I think I haven't seen exactly this picture before - we had one in a slightly different pose, where he's looking directly at the camera.

He looks more reflective here. Black & white suits him. :)
