It's a bangalow palm, (Archontophoenix cunninghamiana) named after the east coast town in Australia. They are good ornamental palms because they self-prune. The dead fronds just drop and don't hang. This is how my neighbour looks just before he heaves the fallen fronds over the fence back to my yard, except Mr Parsons seems a bit happier here, though as determined.

BANGalow palm.

oh yes!

A dramatic prop fell from the sky! #showtime

Looks like this picture was taken in front of their new home, the manicured hedges only appear there. All of the other the landscaping is done in terraces with plants that are native to that part of the country.

I wonder if it's from that big tall palm you can see next to the house in that picture.

Silly Jimmy, I wonder if he has any idea what kind of chaos he's causing amongst so many people with his "sexy gardener" pose... :p

Good morning. Small confession: I don't really collect mugs, I just don't really throw away the ones I've gotten as gifts, freebies or inherited - like today's mug from a roommate situation back in NY in 2001. Still not sure who brought this into the apartment back then, but I've moved with it for 13 years now.#accidentalcollection
