It's all about restraint.  I'm in NY a lot visiting my daughters so do get to see celebs walking around (and definitely have eagle eyes out for Jim) but I just look and think "Hey, that's so and so, cool.".  Although, if I did see him, I'd be screwing up my courage big time to go and just say hello.  Right now I have to be content with being 3 degrees away from him (ie 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game).  Jim worked with Eliza Dushku on TBBT (The Apology Insufficiency) and she acted in an Indie film last year that my daughter did the sound recording for.  She just laughs at me when I tell her she needs to get on a Jim Parsons project..crazy mama, indeed.

Mayim probably told him about the more nasty comments she gets

It honestly shocks and saddens me that people can be so vulgar and cruel to someone they don't know, especially in a public forum.  You don't have to agree with everything that public person says but there's a way to disagree without being mean or to make a comment about someone's looks, geesh.  I admit, I'll watch the Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets" and laugh hysterically, mostly because the celebs are game for it and make a joke out of it, but I do wonder what is going through those posters minds.

It seems like Jim does read some of his posts, but how do you sift through so many "I love you!" or "Follow me!" comments to get to the ones that have substance.  I bet once he's back from hiatus his postings will slow down somewhat.  I hope not, though.

it would be beautiful if they were stopped more time in Europe, if Jim is free from appointments of job perhaps they will do it... I would be very happy if they passed in Italy  :icon_cheesygrin:

and after Italy, they can hop on over next door to Greece... i would just LOOOVE that! :)   :)

I was thinking I was many degrees away from Jim Parons (6 Degrees Game), but I guess I'm really only 1 or 2--however you count it.  I went on a ST fan cruise (like a mini floating con) and Wil Wheaton was there (back when he was a teenager.)

I think that's the closest, although I didn't actually speak with Wil.  But I could go William Shatner (did a narration part with our orch)--Kaley Cuoco--Jim; or Patrick Stewart--LeVar Burton/Wil Wheaton/Brent Spiner--Jim; or William Shatner--Leonard Nimoy--Jim.

The funny thing about the William Shatner thing is that Leonard Nimoy was originally supposed to do the narration, but had an unexpected conflict, so we got Shatner instead.  And it didn't have anything to do with space or ST or anything like that. :p

'Wish I Was Here' Premiere: Zach Braff on Sharing His Movie With Kickstarter Backers

"Kickstarter backers who pledged $1,500 or more visited the set during the shooting of Wish I Was Here in L.A., which co-star Jim Parsons conceded "gave an energy to the shoot" that he hadn't anticipated."

How can you tell when somebody is online there?

He had just "liked" two photos on IG.  That's the only way to tell.

Is this an iPhone thing?  I have a Samsung Galaxy 5S and can't figure out how to tell when someone you're following "likes" a post.

Dear CBS, I can assure you I am not excited about Thursday Night Football. No matter how adorable Jim Parsons is in that commercial.

What commercial?

It started airing on CBS this week. It's actually the promo they showed at the CBS upfronts in May. Simon actually is in it twice, Jim once. I will see if it's online

Wow its been a crazy day! I am just home from work and catching up with the twitter gossip... WOW

Sorry I didn't get a chance to see him today.. I was pretty sure he was on that flight. The flight I was on was delayed slightly which means I got to arrivals later then originally planned.. I used my whole lunchtime and evening breaks up and switched around my afternoon plan So I could try and see him. But no luck.. I waited for an hour left as late as I could and pretty much got hammered with work until finishing time because of the changes made for me to have that hour free. So now I am very very tired. It wasn't nice seeing some of the twitter comments. But hey ho. Win and lose some! Right now I am working double shifts to fund my next LA visit in september. Today was one of those days! Time for bed!

As I said before.. I didnt want to pounce him.. I just wanted to personally thank him for being a part of something that makes me incredibly happy.. and show my appreciation. call me crazy! Im in no way upset.. better luck ned time!

Sometimes, some things are better left unsaid....Thanks for the support today guys x
