Oh, that was a great Paley Center interview! He did get adorably emotional when talking about his nephew and taking him to meet Abby Cadabby on Sesame Street. It was in reaction to a question asking him about the best and worst things about his job. He cited that as one of the best (along with getting to have his mother come on Martha Stewart with him for Mother's Day). He said something like, "Oh, it's making me a little emotional" and  tried to laugh it off as he wiped the tears off his face so he could continue answering more questions.

 aww. Thanks for the details.

He's such an emotional person. That picture of him crying is touching me inside in odd ways. Not that I want him to cry, but.. you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you meant. When the men  react  like Jim did. It must be that he has big heart  full of love, and he for sure knows how to show it to the ones he loves. Like I said... PERFECT Man like that is a rare phenomenon

It really was very sweet. You could tell he really loves his nephew. He seemed a teeny bit embarrassed, but he got over it very quickly and he and the audience laughed a bit. The audience was really wonderful. You could tell they were all very impressed with him.

Silverangel - will have to watch it later, back home.. I'm sure I'll love it. :)

 And why wouldn't they be. I remember seeing some old ladies in the clip, smiling at what he was saying, and you can tell they felt so much affection for him. He's just that kind of person.

How I wish I could see this!

Silver, that's such a lovely video! You chose some of my favorite pictures and moments. And the perfect words and music to go with Jim's sweetness. It transported me to a different world for 10 minutes.
