I love that your husband is racing home for dindin.  That made me laugh!

Honestly, the request for take out has dropped dramatically since I started making these recipes.  Have left some of the recipes out on the counter in hopes that maybe he'll make something that I can race home for..ok, race down the stairs for (home office), still waiting.

I love his eye glass collection.  He looks good in so many styles.  I have a two pair of I'll be out and about glasses with transition lenses and a zillion pair of cheaters for laptop use.  I have such a hard time finding frames that fit and I like that don't cost a fortune.

looking at the picture, wonder where those glasses with black frame are this days, 'cause lately he has been very fond of the blue ones...

And someone in the comments suggested this was from their trip to Paris?... uh, so many questions that will remain unanswered, since we don't have Jim here :icon_razz:

Yeah that was me asking if it was from Paris. Jim wore his glasses alot during that trip and I know Melissa was there with him. But also on the wall behind them you can read 'extinction eau pulvérisée' :p so I was just basing it on that.

Actually Jim and Todd went on vacation to Paris in May 2013 after the end of Season Six, that was the trip that his friend Melissa and her husband took with them.  Jim went back to Paris to tape WDYTYA later that same summer, I think I remember reading that his mother went with him.

Hey vonmar, how can I get in touch with Jim? Anything besides his Instagram?

When he was taping WDYTYA last summer

Oh ok, thank you. It's not recently.

So I could have crossed Jim in the street without knowing. Anyway, this is unlikely, and I don't approach celebrities. But I could have been happy to see him.

Perhaps one day the entire cast will make a kind of comic con in Paris. Yeah, I hope a little too much. lol

Like vonmar said, Jim was in Paris twice that year. On his first visit Mayim was there too and they had dinner together at a vegan restaurant one night, so who knows, maybe you were lucky enough to actually have passed by them ;)

Well, I don't think so. :)

But knowing that someone you admire, who is in another country, can be found at some point in the same city as you, it "does something" / makes shiver (I don't find in English how good translate what I mean, never mind, it's not important. lol).

It reminds me when he was in London for tennis. I understood the people living in London could say 'but he is so nearby and I can't meet him.'

You were breathing the same air... :)

It played for me--are you trying to watch it on a mobile device or something?  I think you can find it on youtube under that actress's name--Jessica Eleanor Grant.  I think she put together her scenes from the movie.

It's a strange little super-indie film.  I think the writer/director guy has a website somewhere, though the full film is not on it.  I don't remember if this was some kind of student film or whatever, but it's a weird, dark little story.  It's hard to tell the whole thing from these clips, but I think this is most of Jim's scenes.  I think there's another set of clips out there that are mostly Jim, but I think this set has more of him.

It would be interesting to be able to dig out the whole film some day.  Jim's voice seems very deep and he's so NOT Sheldon.  After so many years of watching him be Sheldon, it's so strange to see him in this little snippet.

I would love to hear him talk about it some day--though I guess he'd probably be diplomatic about the quality of the story and the other actors.  I wonder what he thinks of his performance, as well.  Very interesting in that regard. :)

That seemed like a student film to me, but yeah, it was kind of weird.  I just skipped through a lot of it to get to Jim’s scenes.  My favorite one was him picking up that girl off the truck.  He did it so easily.  Made me think that maybe Sheldon Cooper would have the upper body strength after all to be able to pick up one Amy Farrah Fowler some day.  :)  (Though that Jessica Eleanor Grant was a little sprite, nymph type, at least in that film; Mayim would probably be a little heavier.)

I've considered this myself. May I also add that Jim has been working out lately. I'm sure Jim could lift Mayim with ease.

Also wanted to say that I love how emotional Jim has a tendency to be. There were two separate interviews he did where he became so overwhelmed with emotion about what he was talking about that he got choked up and it was very sweet. once when he was remembering people's reactions to the stage play of the Normal Heart and another time when he recalled his nephews reaction to meeting Seseme Street characters. He's such a sensitive man. It makes my heart flutter and it makes his portrayal of Sheldon all the more remarkable because Sheldon has a fundamental lack of sensitivity.

Flipping gorgeous!!!!

Its nice that his NY friend Melissa is doing his friends wedding and most likely under the recommendation from Jim

The dog woke me up around that time to go out and when I got back to bed I thought I'd read to fall back to sleep.  I went on to IG just for a second and there he was.  No falling back to sleep for me, nuh uh,   I wonder if the picture she posted the other day of that beautiful flower was from his gardens.
