Jim Parsons

I thought the same thing, that it was BTS or something. No one reacted to him in the other clip that Vonmar posted. Maybe that was the point? Maybe it was some kind of acting exercise. See how stoic you can remain in the face of Jim's comedy. [emoji1]

Well, in the first one, at first I thought that they had some issue with that blaring horn not turning off when the other guy took the computer from Jim, because you can hear someone off-camera chuckling, and then the way Jim smiles, which looks just like the way he sometimes smiles in BBT bloopers, but then the two other actors don't really react.

And in the flight attendant one, she kind of joins in the dance, but none of the others in the plane react at all.

They're very funny, but I'm not sure if intel was trying to make them look like outtakes when they're really not, or what.

Either way, though, I'm happy to see Jim as much as possible. :p

It looks like he was doing voice over work this morning

From Twitter:

BIG BANG THEORY star Jim Parsons is in our studio doing a voice over. Friendly, polite, no-maintenance. #Refreshing

East coast weather changing... Turning cold for Turkey Day (this is the second time I posted this because I misspelled "weather" the first time #IDontWantToTalkAboutIt)

For you, phanta:

Aw, he's looking cute in his denim jacket (this is the one he was wearing in that airport picture the other day.)  Also looks like he recently had a haircut, I think.  Love that he found the magazine with his pic!  Self-referential...

How weird am I for being oddly turned on that he cares about correct spelling?  Lol.

What's the pic for this one?

I can understand him wanting to fix the spelling--some people on IG will eat you alive for such mistakes! :p

It was with the bridge pic vonmar re-posted above.

And yeah, I totally get the self-preservation reasons for correcting things; I just also get the feeling that Jim is very particular about these things, much like I am...sort of like how when he talks you can practically see him carefully choosing his words.  I know he doesn't have Sheldon's IQ, but he's clearly an intelligent and well-spoken man.

What bridge pic?  I don't think I've seen it.  The last IG pic of Jim's that I saw before the waiting room one was the Radio City Music Hall pic.

I wonder if Jim gets to see much of his mom and sister, I guess if they come to stay with him he might keep it private idk

I think he sees them at Christmas, primarily.  He has said before that he doesn't go home for Thanksgiving, but he does for Christmas.  And I think he brings them out to LA now and then, especially his mother.

And when he went to France for WDYTYA, he took his mom with him.

Thanks, but this time it's not showing up.  Stoopy work.

Yeah, I don't know if he'd share that or not.  I do love that moment in his Paley Center (I think) interview where he talks about taking his nephew to the Sesame Street shoot with him and tears up...

I love the story the told that one time about when he was living in NYC and he was trying to go home for Christmas but a bad storm was messing up the flights.  He had made it out of NYC, but got stuck somewhere in the midwest (Chicago or somewhere else) and couldn't get a flight to Houston.  There were flights going back to NYC, so he called his mom and told her he was giving up and going back to the city.

She said, "Well, now you've ruined Christmas."

:p
