My husband just called to ask how "Sheldon" was.  No, it's Jim, not Sheldon, JIM!  I told him he was divine and amazing and his first comment to that was "No, you can not marry Sheldon. Besides, you do know he's gay."  Hubby kind of likes to point that out.  I think I went on for a while gushing over Jim and that I was sitting in front of Todd, I'm not sure really what I said at that point because I just kept seeing Jim in those tight pants, the rolled up shirt sleeves, how he was cold at the beginning of the play (white, fitted dress shirt ladies, he was "cold"), the hands, the lips, the everything.

Reading M-rated fan fic now, oh my, yes, that will work.

Oh yes.. his hands...devine is the word. I'm hugging my program right now, knowing Jim held on to it. I handed it to him lightly so he would have to touch it to give support while he signed it..

But ugh.. I really should have taken the oppurtunity to touch his arm

My husband says the same thing--did you ladies talk about "Sheldon"? And yes, hubby, I know that he's gay--how is that relevant at all?

For you, it was hands, for me, it was legs. Of course, I know he has long legs, but in person, in those pants, his legs seemed to go on for days. I am barely 5'1", so everyone seems tall to me.

One thing I thought was cute was a couple of times when Jim walked over to the stand and placed his script there, he had to raise the stand to a more comfortable height. To accommodate those legs. Damn.

Frankie, believe me, I did not forget about the legs.  It was just impossible to focus on everything at once, even though I tried.  On a scale of 1 to 10 he's a 15.  I mean, damn, there isn't one thing about him that's not on my list of wants, and that includes the kind of person he is, too.

Jamie, I would have tried to have found some way to brush his fingers with mine handing it to him.

I think hubby reminds me about his being gay so I won't think about leaving him for Jim.  Otherwise, neither of us care.

Back to Todd for a moment, he really is nice looking, and thinner and shorter than Jim, I'd say about 5'9", 5'10".  When my daughter and I walked by him, she was taller than him and she is 5'10" and was wearing heels.

Still on cloud Jim today.

Another Todd detail, although thin he's fit, too. Not as buff as Jim now, but not scrawny. He was wearing a dark fitted sweater and dark pants. He looked very nice. If it was biologically possible, I'd say they'd make drop dead gorgeous babies.

thank you, thank you!

ah! I love December already! and yet we have to see him with Craig, and... the Elf, and there was something else i can't remember now.
By the way in my Tumblr dashboard I got the news Jim was nominated for Comedy actor for the Satellite Awards (the show is too, as well as the normal heart for tv movie) I don't know if these are important awards, but is good to see Jim- and the show- nominated for everything !! Cheers!!!!

Thanks for the article--I guess it was in the issue I was looking at that had Johnny Depp.  I haven't gone to look for it in the store, but I may do that tonight as I have an errand to run, and it's near a Barnes & Noble... :)

I love his little quip at the end about how he can do what he wants now and how you can hold that over him--"He didn't have to do that--jackass" :p

ETA: Thanks to all for all the lovely details about Jim and his performance last night.  I'm getting a little mental image of him being...ahem..."cold".

NERTS...

Also, with all the Jimmy goodness, I've got little notes in my calendar between all my orchestra schedule rehearsals and performances--"Elf!" "Jim on Craig!", etc.. :)

I guess he's got to skedaddle back to LA for tomorrow's table read.  Hope he got some rest after last night. :)

Hmm, perhaps the reason he wans't at the after party last night is because he decided to flight back to L.A that same night... dunno, just guessing... (since you don't post pics regularly anymore, Jim! :icon_biggrin:)

I would think he would have caught a flight today, but since he's usually not much of a partier or a night owl, it could be that he wanted to get to bed.

If the show got out around 9pm or so, that's kind of around his bedtime. :p

And if he had anything to do today before his flight out, he might have wanted to turn in early, etc., so he could be ready to fly out.

As for his IG posting, he's like a pusher.  He got me addicted and now I'm like a junkie who can't get a fix of the good stuff.  I make do with pictures of cats and a few other things, but I really want the hardline stuff.

Gimme the Jimmy! :p

Jim was up early NY time (around 6:30 AM) liking photos.  He could have had more work to do this morning and we all know he needs to be back by tomorrow for table read which means he has to catch a flight out of there sometime today.    He may have taken an early flight, had laundry to do before a  later flight or all kinds of things, but today was likely a busy day for him as well, so it makes sense that he  would head back straight from the read last night to gear up for returning back to LA.   He has never been a partier and would likely have only dropped in for a few brief moments as it is and given it was busy time during the evening in NYC, I can see him opting to get home and to bed early so he could get everything done he needed to and back to LA to prepare for tomorrows table read.   He is more inclined to focus on that than partying I think.

For those who paid extra to attend the party...I feel horrible that you had to miss him, but it was always a gamble with him.   He has never been known to be much into partying and usually heads out of things very quickly and gets home early at night.   Look at it this way, you supported a theater company (which is a tax write off) and you may be giving Jim a chance to come back and work for that theater company in a future production because of your donation.   So it is all good.  You sat in great seats, got to see a wonderful production and see him doing what he loves and could be employing him in the future with your donation!

Very cute, thanks!

So were they wearing mikes (on their ears)?  It looks like Jim has one, and in one of those photos he seems to be fiddling with it.  I was wondering if they'd be miked or just rely on their "stage projection" voices. :p

Too bad they seem to be pictures of mostly just the bows at the end (except for the first one where he's on the phone) and apparently the afterparty (which Jim didn't attend).  I would have loved to have seen him in his various costumes. :)

Thanks again for the link!

ETA: I was wondering if one of the NYC papers would have printed a review of the performance--or if they wouldn't do that for a one-night fundraiser kind of thing.  I would love to know what an objective party thought of the show. :)

Yup. Nope they were miked. It was behind his right ear. :)

I wish there was a pic of him in the cowboy outfit. It was chaps, the cowboy shirt and the cowboy hat. I believe in blue. It was over his black pants and the white shirt with the suspenders he was wearing. All his costume changes were done over his initial outfit.

Just had to go back and read everyone's reports and look at the pictures from last night.  Some random thoughts...(the photo's are from Star's blog)

I loved the pictures of Jim signing autographs after the show, love the hulking security guard hovering off his shoulder. This took me back to following his run in Harvey.

His face here, it's almost like he's about to launch out of his seat in excitement

So happy for him, such joy here....

Loved the stuff about Todd, we never really get much info about him, so sweet how happy he was for Jim.

Ah, the tight pants, tight shirts, cold theatre, how Jim smells stuff, I'll need another glass of Sangria to dull my senses I think.

So appreciative to all of the people who reported back on their experiences....thrilled for you all that you got to have this experience, thank you for sharing it with us.

Finally, my favorite random Tweet of the night:

Just saw Jim Parsons in a reading and now I'm obsessed!!!!
