New Jim interview. He talks abt Todd and kids

my womb is ready for you Jim.

I know Jim is modest and humble, but I'm thinking he's really not confident in his looks.  He has made so many comments alluding to that.  If he only knew.

Come read this thread, Jim!   A lot of people want to get nasty with you.  :spiteful:

JIM IS CONSIDERING HAVING KIDS I'M LOSING MY MIND HOORAY! HE WOULD BE AN AMAZING DAD! WHY AM I YELLING???

I think he would make a really great dad too! He seems to have it in him. It will be extremely interesting to see what turns his life and his career and his relationships will take over the next few years.

I was surprised by this!   My ovaries would truly kick the bucket if I saw them become dads.

I think someone has said this before but if it were possible for them to have biological kids together can you imagine the genes that kid would have?

very nice interview, I am happy to read that Jim is not annoyed at all by the questions on his relationship.. now he is surely more relaxed in to share this part of his life with the fans.. and I hope he reveals us more details sooner or later  :p

I don't know if he wants really kids, but I can see Todd and Jim create a beautiful family in the future... who know  :)

Yup, it was me, after I saw Jim in "Merton of the Movies" and Todd was sitting right behind me.  Todd really is extremely good looking and I find it incredible that Jim looks in the mirror and does not see what we see.  But, I guess we all do that.  The man is gorgeous in all the right ways and I've spent far too much time ogling his bathtub pics with his new buff body (ok, I'd still ogle even with his non-buff self).

I'm not holding my breath waiting for marriage or kids for them, but it's nice to think it could happen some day.

And, yes, Jim, I'm a voyeur, or nosey - however, you want to put it, I really do find it interesting how you two met, how long it took you before you realized he was "the one", etc.

Now off to think about seeing Jim in May and wondering what he'll be wearing - or not - under that robe.....hmmmm...

About that interview I guess I'm among the minority here who did not like it. Seriously, the 9 year old kid for Intofilm did a better job interviewing Jim than this guy. He wasn't there to find out about Jim's new film (did they even talk about it?), he was trying to get a scoop out of this interview and was going out of his way to make Jim uncomfortable, nailing all subjects anyone know Jim likes to avoid. Sheldon's "asperger's sympthons", his fame, internet creepyness. Just to get something out of Jim that would make a good headline. Tried to make him say Rihanna was egomaniacal diva, then attemted to get him to say he was annoyed with Ellen by bringing up that awkward interview, something poor Jim never seems to get to forget. To make it worse he then asks the exact same question as Ellen, like, for real? On top of that then asking for kids, again a subject Jim dismissed back in 2013 and was clearly uncomfortable talking about.

Even if Jim is playing nice and it comes off as he's comfortable we know he's just being polite and nice. I try not to read too much into these interviews where its clear that the mission was to have Jim do a slip on the tongue. If this was a video interview i'm sure not many would have liked it, Jim's uncomfortableness would have been noticable.

Many good interviews have been done during Jim's PR tours, but this was not a favorite of mine.

Now knowing the premise more clearly, I have a daydream scenario that *may* just do us in at 'Ol Studio 54.   :heat:   :swoon:

I do not like written interviews because often they are not his exact words or they change something...

I love he consider having children, but for me, until I hear his own words I will not believe so much... :)

Jamie, you're right, Jim's too much of a gentleman and smart to fall into the trap of revealing what he doesn't want known. Written word removes facial expression and tone so I take all I read with a grain of salt. Do I think Jim and Todd will marry and have kids, no, but I'm still interested in his personal life without being too intrusive. Some things are no one's business. I do wonder if Ellen will bring up their past interview and apologize for putting him on the spot.

I think the 60-second thing was more like a bunch of random questions, not necessarily that much about Home.  They asked him about his morning routine, about whether he had collectibles when he was a kid, etc..

I look at it as primarily a fluff piece, but he did manage to give a bit of deeper insight into the stuff about playing Sheldon and the comedy gold in such a character, etc.

It didn't strike me as being treacherous or anything, just fluff.  I think Jim knows how to handle all these interviews with just the right balance of seriousness and sillyness.

I'm a little amazed by his morning routine of getting up early, 2 cups of coffee, protein powder and oatmeal, 5 miles on the treadmill (go outside, Jim!) and 2nd breakfasts (we know he's not a hobbit...)

I'm like his total opposite, the anti-Jim, if you will:

He goes to bed at 8 or 9.  I go to bed between 12 and 3

He gets up at 6am, even when he's not working.  I'll sleep as long as possible if I don't have to go to work or church or teach a student--10:30?  (As long as my bladder will allow...)

He drinks 2 cups of coffee, takes some kind of protein supplement and eats oatmeal, then later has eggs or whatever.  I do not drink coffee.  I eat more or less the same thing for breakfast Tuesday--Friday (fruit, greek yogurt, a low-fat cheese stick, protein drink, Bel Vita "breakfast biscuits"), when I go into the office, otherwise, it's a crapshoot.

He works out every morning.  Um...

He earns lots of money.  Um...

He's gorgeous.  Um...

:p

I just hope he won't have a beard on for the play... I want to look at his pretty face  :cheese:

Well, the way he was explaining it on Fallon, God is simply using the body of Jim Parsons so that he can be seen and heard, so it's not Jim Parsons trying to look like God. ;)

Dear God,

I love the idea of you using the body of Jim Parsons to get your thoughts out to us mere mortals. Just want to ask, is there any way I can use the body of Jim Parsons, too? I promise not to interfere with your show; I have different plans.

Respectfully,

Mamallama (and if it helps Jim, I'm an early to bed, early to rise morning runner, too).

Jim and Rihanna interviewed by Dish Nation's and The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show's Jenna Owens (0:48-1:34) and Jim walking down the red carpet by Jenna's coworker J-Si Chavez (4:05-4:15).

Well, I wouldn't start knitting baby booties just yet..

Agree. But it would be so great

July 25th cannot get here quick enough for me and I sooo hope Todd is there

This interview snippet crack me up, oh Jim if you only TRULY knew:

Q: Do you get hounded by fans?
PARSONS: People want to talk all the time but it's a different of reaction. There's no hysterics, there's no screaming. There should be screaming but you know, look at this [he points to his face] No one's going to scream over this.
Q: Well many consider you a sex symbol. There are sites and Twitter pages devoted to your handsomeness.
PARSONS: I really appreciate your bullshit right now but it isn't necessary. Don't try and butter me up.
Q: I'm not! There are sites, I swear. Check it out after this.
PARSONS: I'm sure it's all part of some computer virus. Click on those sites and watch your accounts drain.
