mamallama
Tomorrow night!!!!!! I'm spinning over stupid things, do I dress up a bit, do I go casual like I usually do when I go to a play? Must have comfortable shoes so I can race to the back door.

EleQueen
Hmmm acting whilst sitting the whole time sounds kinda ideal! Actually, it sounds difficult. When you're standing I think it's easier to use your body to express feelings etc, so for an actor I think it would be more difficult if he's seating all the time. If so, kudos to Jim! Of course, I may be wrong. Edited May 8, 2015 by EleQueen
stardustmelody
Hmmm acting whilst sitting the whole time sounds kinda ideal! Well he sits a fair amount but he does get up and move about the audience in parts of it because those who went last night talked about it. They said he came out and one person he touched their hand, he went up to some and asked them to ask him something, etc. It was "interactive". So he doesn't sit the whole show on the couch...just some of it.

Gorn on the sofa
I finally saw the clips of both interviews, and he was just captivating. Energy just radiates from the screen. How is he not exhausted? Forget the Fountain Of Youth. I want to know how he can consistently maintain this pace and not be frazzled [emoji7]
vonmar
From Deadline Hollywood: http://deadline.com/2015/05/jim-parsons-developing-ryan-oconnell-im-special-comedy-series-1201423426/ Jim Parsons Developing Ryan O’Connell’s ‘I’m Special’ As Comedy Series In a competitive situation, Warner Bros TV has acquired Ryan O’Connell’s book I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves for development as a half-hour comedy series. Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak will executive produce through their It’s Wonderful Productions with O’Connell attached to write and also executive produce. They will begin shopping the project next month. I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves, to be published in June by Simon & Schuster, is described as a part-memoir, part-manifesto by O’Connell — who is both gay and has cerebral palsy — about what it’s like to grow up with special needs. It reveals what sets apart the latest generation of young people coming of age in an all-wired, over-educated and underemployed world and touches on modern dating culture, internships, jobs, drugs and coming out of the closet. That’s Wonderful Productions is repped by CAA. O’Connell is repped by UTA and Jackoway Tyerman.

Aint it the truth we are living in a global economy fueled by technology and we're people are over-educated and underemployed. That is life if you're young an trying to make it in this market where everyone else is on par in terms of their education, skills and qualifications. I think it's great idea for show, especially when you add the special needs element. I hope he eventually develops something for himself after The Big Bang Theory. I would love to see him in a live-action film with him as the lead.
