ooooh yeah! and if he does all the exercises you can see in that insta, well... we'll need a shirtless ( and pantless) Sheldon again, veeeery soon. To corroborate he is doing them right, of course  :icon_twisted:

Is there any way we can see the trainer's instagram?  I just can't seem to do this, try as I may.....

I've been wondering about Jim's stamina for this play compared to the plays he's don't in the past. I mean, he was the lead in Harvey, but what was that show like--how does it compare in length and time onstage to this one.

I think in The Normal Heart his role was much less involved.

But in this, he's onstage the whole time and talks essentially all the time. I hope he doesn't have any issues, like a sore throat or exhaustion. But I guess he's probably good at pacing himself and resting when he can.

I understand that he signed some autographs today even though it was raining. :)

Well, Jim should be very happy, his Houston Rockets won today and advanced to the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors!

If they can win that series they get move on to the NBA Championship Round

The Rockets haven't won a championship since 1995, so I'm pretty sure that all of their fans are really excited.

Yeah I'm sure Jim is thrilled. Didn't look like the Rockets were gonna pull through.

The Warriors will be their biggest challenge yet. They had a 67-15 record this year. But, it's not impossible. If they get to the Finals, I think they have an extremely good shot at winning. The Eastern conference is pretty weak compared to the West.

So, what's next for Jim in appearances? Just the premiere of AAOG on May 28th, right?  Actors Studio is in June,  just as the book release??

Maybe presenting at The Tony's on June 8th?  Probably won't know for sure for a couple of more weeks though.

This numbers are good? I think yes... but I dont understand a lot...

Yes they are still very good numbers.  This past week there were a lot of giveaway tickets as part of a lottery that the show held.   So those ticket $$$ don't get reflected in the gross numbers.   They are doing more giveaways this week and this is the week critics will be coming to watch...so the numbers may be lower next Monday again...but that would be "expected"...because of the freebie seats.   But what is good is that they are still filling out actual real ticket holder seats.   So all very good so far.

Since the play was not sponsored by Roundabout Theater Group or any other well known entity, it basically has left all press up to Javerbaum.   He has done an amazing job bringing about awareness given little resources available to him.  But it will be the reviews that will make a big difference and could bring in audiences.

The play is an unheard of play.  It isn't like "Lion King", "King and I", etc. titles that everyone has heard of and it has not officially opened and there are no reviews out yet.  So for them to get these kind of audiences for a basically unheard of play is pretty amazing.

Wow, thank you so much.

Jim deserves a lot.

I'm wondering if Jim and David will do The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.  David wrote for Jon and Jim did Jon's show during the Harvey run.

It tapes in NYC and Jon's final show isn't until August 6th.

It kind of seems like a perfect match.

It does...I wonder if they may hold off until more like mid-summer when tickets in general tend to go down again.   Maybe by going on Jon's show say in late June...it will give it the final boost for the remaining month and a half.   Of course, I think they are likely to get some really great reviews next week, so that will help push them through the summer as well.
