Jim Parsons

What I need now is an un-blurred photo.  The man moves too fast and I am no good with my phone.  I think tonight his tie was in focus.

:laugh:   So funny!   You are cracking me up, girl!   I think many of us would be too nervous to get a good and well focused photo of him being that you were that close!  :girlwink:   So was his tie at least nice looking since it was in focus?

I LOVED The NY Times review...

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/29/theater/review-an-act-of-god-with-jim-parsons-as-an-almighty-comedian.html

If God were really as adorable and funny as Jim Parsons in the new Broadway show “An Act of God,” perhaps many more of us would be minding our morals, rapaciously atoning for our sins and generally doing unto others as we would like to be done unto, all in the hopes of a breezy welcome at the pearly gates......

This is due in no small part to the perfection of Mr. Parsons’s performance. With his sly smile and his sparkly eyes, he delivers the zingers with an easy grace, giving a nice silky consistency to shtick that, in more aggressive hands, might grow oppressive. He handles the pseudo-biblical language as if it comes as naturally to him as the nerd-speak he spouts on television, looking down upon us with an air of benevolent affection, like a really caring therapist, but one who prefers to talk about himself...

Mr. Parsons’s light Texas drawl makes the Lord seem approachable as opposed to unfathomable, just a nice fellow sitting on the porch — a very fancy one, mind you — sharing homespun if definitely holier-than-thou wisdom about, well, just about everything to do with his ways and his world:

Yowza, he's looking fab, if you make the pic larger you can see that chest hair where the shirt gaps....not that I was looking that closely - gulp

Oh Amy you lucky duck!

I love backs, and he's got a sexy back. I lost my marbles in that topless vignette in The Troll Manifestation.

Question to the fans who've seen him in person:are those brown spots on his neck moles or freckles? If freckles, that's ok.If moles......

HOLY CRAP ON A CRACKER,I'll be toast! *sighs*

I saw on IG that there was an interview with Jim that was supposed to be on Morning Joe on MSNBC, but that show airs at 6am here, so I didn't see the post about it until later.

Did anyone happen to have caught it?

I haven't yet looked online to see if it's there somewhere (I am at work, after all... :p )

Just did a quick check through the Morning Joe website, which is almost all political stuff, and apart from Willie Geist, whose interview with Jim appeared, at least in part, on the Today show, being one of the people on that show, I don't see anything connected with Jim there.

Since it did appear that there was more to that Today Show interview, I was hoping that a longer version was available somewhere, like whatever they were talking about while they were walking down the stairway on the set of the play, etc..

Hmmm...

From The Hollywood Reporter:  http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/25-best-drama-schools-a-797949?utm_source=twitter

"The 25 Best Drama Schools for a Master of Fine Arts"

7. Old Globe, University of San Diego

San Diego

Only 2 percent of applicants are accepted into this demanding two-year program — that's just seven new students per year. The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons got his MFA there in 2001; now he's got four Emmys, a Golden Globe and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

He did appear...but it was the same interview as on NBC  other than he had one small clip of Shamy from BBT shown.   Nothing really new.   It was the same footage.

Jim will be on The View on June 2 so set your DVRs.

Ooh, I can't wait!  It comes on around 10pm here, so I will be home and ready to get me some new Jimmy goodness. :)

Although I've never been crazy about Charlie Rose (he tends to talk over his guests or take forever to formulate a question), but I like the quiet one-on-one set-up, where there's no audience and no band and all that.

Now, I love me some crazy Jimmy Fallon games and all that, but sometimes it's nice just to hear someone talk. :)

Thanks for the heads up!
