Thanks for the update Kerry! Sounds like it was an awesome experience. Did Todd actually go up on the stage to talk? Or just talk from his seat in the audience? What did James Lipton say about An Act of God (I saw somewhere that he had gone to see it)?

Here are two sneak pics I got. I'll try to post more, too, while I'm on the train tomorrow. Kerrycec did a great job. But the passion with which he spoke about Todd and how he SAID sell it baby, sell it, my ovaries wanted to grab on and never let go.

No Todd spoke with a mic from his seat in the front row.

Lipton went to the show and had only great things to say. In general he kept complimenting Jim on how much knowledge he is providing to the students

more additional notes

- Jim isn't religious but said more spiritual but does think religion is important

-credits his success with Todd based off them both being raised in happily married households

-talked about how he didn't hide Todd but not until it came out he spoke about him. He made a snarky funny "I didnt go out and say I Love You". It was funny

-production company is called "its wonderful" as its Jim's catchphrase

-his favorite curse word is Goddammit

-least favorite word "fail"

-happiness noise is Rufus sound when you scratch his head

-least favorite by Otis when you move his tail he makes a screech sort of

-he likes the unknown and never wants to know anything before a tableread. He did tell the BBT that he was allergic to cats but then he shot with 25 of them.

-he expressed his sympathy for the two actresses that were the original Katies in the failed original pilot. He said he had been dying for a place to state this but it truly was not their fault. One got fired at the table read and the 2nd was the Katie we have all scene in the unaired pilot.

Oh man. I know they'll edit it down, but I really want to hear him talk about Todd. It sounds so sweet.  I hope that somewhere out there, the video of the full 3 hours will show up some day.

This is interesting, since he seems so adamant that they won't be getting married. Thanks again for all the info Kerry. :)

When he talked about Todd, he was truly glowing, he smiled from ear to ear. While Todd was speaking, he mentioned how Todd was in hell. But Lipton asked him what he did before he worked on It's Wonderful (so named because because Jim says that all the time) he said he was an art director and was asked to name several accounts. Todd listed off Amex, Barnes and Noble, Kitchen Aid, etc. Jim just beamed and said that the a Kitchen Aid one was his favorite, it was amazing. As supportive of a Jim as Todd always seems to be, Jim really seemed proud of Todd. I've never seen him so happy and demonstrative in his talk of him.

They were set up by one of Jim's friends from grad school and Todd's boss, both women. They doubled at the karaoke bar. Todd's. Song of choice "I Found Someone".

I wonder if Todd will be staying in NY for the duration of the play, if they have work going in with the production companyb

He is. They do.

June 15th event is part of the production work as the book author is the company's first acquisition for production.

So is that in NY then?

I was thinking about Jim and his father, he talked a lot about him recently and that made me think about how when he has to talk as Sheldon losing his father because when Mrs Wolowitz died and Sheldon spoke about his own father dying, you could really see the emotion in Jim's face, maybe he was using his own loss to help him in that situation

I will say it was more of them being raised in stable two parent households than married. They both had great role models to show how to make it in a relationship.

Jim also talked about the engaged rumors he debalked on IG. Nothing new here. He said he would never be a groomzilla as he hates parties and would never want to plan one, to which Todd said he would be the planner.

Sorry a few more things that came to me

-he used to make Julie's friends perform in his shows as a child which feature dancing which he finds odd because he doesn't dance

-talked about the love of weather and how he almost studied it in school. He said I would just look up at the sky and be amazed and say "Kathy's coming" calling the storm the name it was given and Jim pretended to smoke a joint here

-said he loved doing Harvey because here was a lovable people liking drunk and after doing the complete opposite for years its very freeing and refreshing.
