Husband gave me his schedule for the week, and he's out every night BUT Thursday. Need to find a way to be alone for one hour that night. Want to watch ITAS all by myself.

At the risk of aging myself, but I was very young when it came out, he's like the poster boy for The Carpenters song "Close to You."

...on the day that you were born the angels got together and decided to create a dream come true,

So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair and golden starlight in your eyes of blue.

That is why all the girls in town, follow you, all around.

Just like me, they long to be, close to you....

OMFG guys!   He commented on my IG pic.  I am in hysterics.

Ok, so the premise of the play, as we know, is God wants to set the record straight on certain things and because He is so omnipotent, mere humans couldn't understand or see Him, so He's coming to us

So it was a great experience. I got Jim's autograph and a selfie! Great times. Here's the Majim hug from my vantage point. And when the cast left he kissed and hugged Mayim. Super cute, so glad I

Unfortunately(?) I remember that song too

is someone here going to record Inside Actors Studio???? or is there a chance the episode will be available to watch online?  :icon_cry:

And, another little question :icon_redface: ... the book launch of tomorrow... there will no video of it, right? i mean if is a book launch, then there will be only articles about it, and the occasional interview, but no more, i think... :( I was checking the powerhouse arena web site, and there's only a 'photos' section... but nothing more, sadly...

It will be available to watch later online. Not sure when Bravo will post it, but they will. Keep checking. www.bravotv.com. Then just use the pull down to find ITAS.

No, there won't be any video of tomorrow night, unless some fan does and then posts it. Wish I could go, but no way this time.

Bravo TV is geo blocked here. I definitely need to investigate how to get around that. Hopefully it will be put up on YouTube. It will be interesting to see how they edit it down to a hour.

Hmm... question, isn't it summer in New York now? Or is it chilly that he's wearing a windbreaker?

Jim, take off that windbreaker! I need to see that back..

Maybe they have advised him to cover up.  There could be a correlation with crowd hysteria on the days his physique is exposed.

We were all very well behaved :icon_rolleyes::icon_redface: .  I wonder if it is to keep him warm after coming off stage.  They don't want him catching a cold.

Last night I had a dream that I ended up in a play with Jim.  :icon_redface: Apparently, I decided to sneak in there for a better look. Except that all of a sudden I turned around and I was supposed to somehow act in this play! And I knew I am not an actress and I only showed up to see him. I did not know any of the lines or what the play was about. So then I started climbing out the window LOL!

I went to "Powerhouse Arena Book Launch" on Youtube.  There are dozens of launches that have been taped, in part or in whole.  I do hope that this launch will be taped somehow.

Yay, thanks for checking that out for us. Will have to keep going back to YouTube to check.

Jim is down as moderator on their website so he is obviously doing more than just attending :icon_razz:

saw the new tv spot for AAOG, with all those great reviews they sure can brag about it, specially Jim :p
I was reading this past monday from Deadline, the play is doing great still, if not even better than before, they expect to reach $1mill, or something like that, hmmm don't remember correctly...

I had a look at the Playbill figures and it still seems to be doing OK.  I think $1mill+ would be a full house at full price tickets.  This last week they had 85.6% capacity down a little from the week before and the average ticket price was $123.  The producers are not giving a regular discount but are selling tickets at TKTS booth for between 30-50% discount on the day.  It looks like these are mainly off to the side or rear mezz.  Plus todayTix does a $37 lottery.  I don't think these seats are bad for seeing the show but center orchestra gives you a better view of Jim :icon_razz: .

The few reviews that haven't liked the show have mainly been complementary about Jim.

Variety and The New York Times both think it's doing very well...

Variety: Meanwhile, Jim Parsons starrer “An Act of God” ($852,902) continued to look robust,

NYT: The only show of the 2015-16 season that has opened to date, a comedy starring Jim Parsons called “An Act of God,” continues to strengthen at the box office, grossing $852,902 last week.

Sadly the most recent thing they have loaded on that site is over three years old.   It does not appear that they have loaded any newer videos since.   I am not hopeful we will be getting a video given how hold their most recent upload is.   It likely means they no longer are video taping the sessions.

well, the producer of the play posted a pic in his IG that said that the seats (for Saturday matinee, i think it was) were sold out... i think in a general analysis things are going very well for Jim and the play... he will be able to say he had a successful summer :)

Someone on IG just recently posted a pic of Jim moderating the book opening.

I don't really know how to copy the pic or link from IG, but it looks like he's wearing his God clothes. The shoes, anyway. :)
