Jim Parsons

Recommended Posts

I'm going to try.

it'll be easy on one front because I'll be in LA and I'll be too busy to check social media while I'm there.

It'll be hard because I'll be with a group of Shippers that'll want to discuss E1 to the ends of the earth...

I would try and go spoiler free after your trip to LA. Enjoy:shy:

just saw Jim outside AAOG.  He is such a nice guy, but his voice is shot.  Very raspy and he did look tired.  Poor guy, cannot imagine sounding that way AND having a show tonight.  I bet with what little downtime he has, its rest rest rest.

Now the rasp was sexy though...just saying...

I remember when Patrick Stewart was doing his one-man reading/performance of A Christmas Carol--and I think he also did this for a one-man thing he did called Uneasy Lies the Head--he kept a little bowl of orange slices that I guess he would occasionally suck on.  Of course, that was a much more informal kind of performance--no costume, no real "character" to inhabit, etc.

I wonder if Jim is doing something like that in his downtime--some special food or drink to soothe his throat, along with those steroids to reduce inflammation.

Reminds me of the Dr. Stephanie episode where she tells Sheldon he has an inflammed larynx and must stop talking immediately. :)

Doesn't he have a cup onstage--does he drink from it during the show?

Jim does have a goblet, of water I assume, but too much is going to make him need to pee.

Oh boy, thoughts of that raspy voice. :icon_redface:    He's  gotta be suffering pretty bad. I read he gargles before going on, but that throat needs a few weeks of rest that it just isn't going to get.

I would love to go again just to see the differences from the end of May until now.

There are new lines and his raspy voice. It's different from last month.

When exactly does the play end?

At least he will have a few days rest before the taping, he might have to just not talk very much at rehearsals next week

I know a few people on Tumblr that are "attempting" to go spoiler free (key word "attempting").

I myself could never go spoiler free, not even if my life depended on it. Spoiler free people essentially have an extra six weeks of hiatus...I would literally go insane.

I was spoiler free for the first 7.25 seasons. Then I found this website :icon_cheesygrin:

So cool that Billy Crystal came back to see him!

i remember Jim talking about how nervous or self-conscious he felt about people coming backstage when he was doing TNH, I think it was, trying to avoid an awkward conversation or whatever, but he wasn't starring in that play, and I think he wasn't as well known then.

now he's the star and he's won a GG and 4 Emmys, so I hope he feels better about stars coming back to see him. :)

Looks like it has been a busy time back in Jims dressing room.

Yea yesterday there were a lot of visitors. We waited longer than before. Teller from Penn&Teller went in with his crew to see Jim Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I sometimes feel a bit envious of the people Jim gets to meet and hang out with. I love Penn and Teller!
