I was thinking about that and wondering if his family was safe.  I've seen some scary footage from that area.  I used to have family in the Houston, Texas City, Galveston area and I remember my cousin and her then-husband living in a Houston apartment when the city flooded, years ago.

I hope he's been able to be in touch with all of them and knows they're safe.

According to Twitter, Jim's new movie "Hidden Figures" started their final 3 weeks of filming yesterday.  Kevin Costner is now on location in Atlanta.

I have a feeling that Jim is going to be heading there as soon as the Season 9 finale tapes.

Oh please let jim have a considerable amount of screen time!!! I dont want to have my hopes up, and then discover he appears in two or three takes only!!! A few headlines said he was starring along other actors, but i take that with a grain of salt, because is just a title...

I would imagine his part is really just supporting as the other women have been filming for a while now. It's also unusual for a main part to be cast later in the shooting schedule. I'm only expecting him to have a slight role but I'm glad the film sounds interesting. I hated Visions!

I imagine that is right.  Like a few other people I read it as pull to start with and had a few blank moments trying to figure it out. As I was looking at Jim it wasn't a problem

Maybe he's checking on his family in the Houston area.

I think they all have the day off today. Mayim doesn't appear to be in work judging from Instagram and unless Jim was just meeting somebody at the airport, he's gone away for the weekend. I wonder if they have a long day on Monday. I would have thought they have some press in on Monday too.

I doubt that they were off today, not on the Friday before a taping.  It just may have been an early day for them.

It would appear that Jim was was not on set today.  It looks like he flew out of  LA on Thursday.  I'm thinking that it had something to do with the movie.

He probably has to head to Atlanta to finish filming Hidden Figures film he is in.   Then he may head to NY after because I think he wants to catch some plays, especially Jesse Tyler's play.   But I suspect he will spend a great deal of the summer working back in LA because he has several projects in development and all of them are LA-based and involving Warner and folks on the West Coast.   The summer he can get a lot more accomplished than once S10 starts back up and he is taping again.
