Its Shakespeare's 400th  ann. of his death today--did Jim go to a celebration at The Old Globe school?

The clip about Jim's Shakespeare days are from the special that was done when he won a recognition from the school some time ago.

Could this be of consideration, for when the Tony nominations are announced???? No way, right? '_'

No, The Audience Choice Awards are kind of like The People's Choice awards for theater.

I think Jim's Tony odds are kind of slim, there were/are a lot of great plays and performances on Broadway this year. But who knows, right?

Agree....I think his chances are pretty slim as well...plus the timing of when it completed makes it harder to remember compared to some of the great plays he is up against that have been critically acclaimed.   So who knows....

I'm expecting Hamilton to sweep the Tony nominations tomorrow. AAOG has a very low chance, if at all. Kinda bummed, coz I saw AAOG last summer(July end) and it was great.

However, Time Out New York has picked AAOG as among its choices for Best Play.

They pick AAOG for best play, but they don't pick Jim for best actor...LOL...it was basically a one man show.

I agree, Jim had a great summer as the center of a critically and financially successful show.  But, it was a very strong season on Broadway for plays and I think his nomination chances are pretty slim.

Yeah, I agree. I think AAOG  was too early in the Tony season to be considered and they couldn't even campaign for it. They were 6 months too early LOL.
