Love the pic, love jim's eyes and love Todd's silly face lol awww for many, many years more, love them. And yay! Jim got another nom. here's hoping he wins this year. Did he win last year? don't remember... :s

So many good things to come for both of them and their production company, i'm so happy to hear they are working and moving forward with their projects (and i assume some of them were the projects signed in jim's 1M contract)

I don't know if jim having all these side projects is an indication he will opted out of TBBT after season 10. I understand the concern of some fans, that's ok. Personally, IF this is any indicator, i'm glad he already has options and work offers. I'm no longer following the series, but i think i read somewhere he said that as long as he's enjoying the stories and playing Sheldon he'll be a part. Now, money negotiations complicate things everywhere LOL

Their company "That's Wonderful Productions" is now a production pod based on the Warner Bros. lot.  Movie, TV & theater production deals were part of Jim's last contract with Warner's.   Todd is now actively involved in the company and Eric Norsoph who they hired in April 2015, appears to handle most of the behind the scenes work.

Jim spends 24 weeks a year working on TBBT, in between he does movies and plays, making connections with people all over the industry.  The company is doing very well and could keep up this dynamic.  I have seen nothing in the press that indicates that Jim is ready to walk away from TBBT.

Another project for Jim and Todd's production company...

From The Hollywood Reporter

Jim Parsons Developing Monarchy Comedy for Freeform (Exclusive)

Freeform is looking to Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons for its next comedy.

The former ABC Family is teaming with the Emmy-winning actor to develop single-camera comedy The Monarchy Is Going to Sh*t, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The comedy, developed on spec and scoring a script commitment from Freeform, centers on the Monarchy of Andova, which is thrust into disarray when the king’s newly discovered illegitimate son is named as the rightful heir to the throne, effectively seizing the title from the king's daughter, who has prepared her entire life to become the nation’s first reigning queen.

Parsons and his husband and That's Wonderful partner Todd Spiewak will exec produce the comedy, which will be written and co-executive produced by Amy Reed. From Warner Horizon Television, That's Wonderful head of development Eric Norsoph will oversee the project for the company.

Happy to hear the company is doing well. It seems to be a bit of a pattern though that Jim's name is put front and centre in reporting (making probably a lot of people wonder how this man can produce a gazillion projects next to TBBT) while Eric Norsoph is the actual busy bee behind the scenes. But thus is the business - name recognition and everything.

P.s.: "his husband" teehee x3

And another project for TWP...From Variety

Jim Parsons Developing CBS Comedy With Alex McAulay, Todd Spiewak (EXCLUSIVE)

Jim Parsons is adding yet another project to his growing development slate.

“The Big Bang Theory” star is executive producing “Lance 2.0,” a single-camera comedy from writer Alex McAulay, Variety has learned exclusively. The series centers around a young couple that deals with the aftermath when the boyfriend has an accident that changes his personality and causes him to lose his impulse control.

McAulay penned the pilot and will serve as co-executive producer, working alongside Parsons who is exec producing with Todd Spiewak. Eric Norsoph, head of development and production for Parsons’ shingle, That’s Wonderful, will oversee the project for the company. Warner Bros. Television is the studio.

“Lance 2.0” marks Parsons’ fourth project to sell this development season, beefing up his producing resume. He’s also attached as an executive producer to “Lakeside VA,” a hospital comedy at ABC, “The Terranauts” at the CW, plus the already-buzzed-about “Big Bang Theory” spinoff at CBS, which will center around a young Sheldon. Warner Bros. TV is behind all of the projects.

From The Desert Sun - part of the USA Today Network

Hidden Figures,” the true, little-known story of three African-American women who helped catapult the United States to the forefront of the space race, will receive the Ensemble Performance Award Jan. 2 at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.

The actresses playing the characters, Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe, are expected to attend the gala with fellow cast members Kevin Costner and Jim Parsons.

“History has its share of incredible untold stories, and this is one of the most compelling: The tale of three African-American women – engineers, physicists, mathematicians – who in their work for NASA in the early 1960s were integral in calculating the flight trajectories for Project Mercury and Apollo 11,” said Festival Chairman Harold Maztner.  “Fueled by the performances of Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe, the ensemble cast also features outstanding performances from Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Glen Powell and many others.
