I also do remember seeing Mayim on Blossom as well even Shei_Rah_Ho-Le, even thought from seeing bits of it and it's sad that Blossom has not been reran since the late 90s. For being a woman scientist, for her acting skill, and for being a strong, down-to-earth and positive person. Also, I totally dig her platonic love for Jim and their friendship (with a tiny bit of jealousy because being in her place would have been heaven). koops Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 I was just rewatching the episode and the flip out scene gets better and better. It's amazing how painful of a scene it could have been if she hadn't had those subtle inflections in her voice that made it sound funny while she was angry. The way she says "patient with you" and "mouth too slippery!" have that tone of funny exasperation that give a completely different tone to the scene that it could have been. She's so good at playing with her voice. And then in the same scene she plays the adorable, cute, sweet girl who can't figure out what she did wrong, with that innocence in her voice that makes you want to hug her. Amazing. When I was growing up, my favorite movie was Beaches. Then, a bit older, I loved Blossom (even owned a Blossom hat). And, I started getting into TBBT when Amy was introduced. It took me a minute to realize that Mayim was in all of these. Then, I learned more about her as a person and I'm just blown away. She really is an inspiration on stage and off!
